I have 14 Activision games for the Atari 2600 with 3 more well on the way. I got the patch scores for the 14 games. Activision Decathlon, Chopper Command, Dolphin, Freeway, Grand Prix, Ice Hockey, Laser Blast, Megamania, Pitfall, River Raid, Skiing, Stampede, Starmaster and Tennis. On the way are Kaboom!, Keystone Kapers and Sky Jinks.

How does save data for pokemon work?
@BigJimGaming.
@BigJimGaming. Күн бұрын
It should work the same as any other game, if you have Nintendo online make sure the saves are uploaded to the save data cloud before swapping memory cards, then after swapping memory cards re-download the game or put the cartridge in depending if you own it physically or digitally and download the saved data from the cloud to your new memory card

Half of these wouldn't be a bad thing if there was some kinda custom firmware , but I highly doubt that thing could handle Sega 32X or PS1

The games are all on a micro sd card so I suppose you could try installing custom firmware but I’m not sure it would work well as it can’t be very powerful for the price, as you say highly doubt it could handle more powerful systems like PS1. But it is a cheap device to try as a first emulator and what is on it seems to work well, I’m using it quite a lot 😀👍🏻

As a longtime PS3 gamer myself with experience repairing each iteration of models (original "fat", slim, and super slim), here's how I'd rank each model from most reliable to least reliable: 1. Super slim models from late 2012 to 2017. These things may not be visually appealing but they have a great reputation for being whisper quiet even on hot days and extremely power efficient. Super slim models are the most power efficient PS3s out there. GPUs, CPUs, and Blu-Ray drivers on these have great reliability. Less power usage = less chance of overheating and hardware failures. 2. CECH-25xx and CECH-30xx slim models from mid 2010 to 2012. Slim models from mid 2010 to mid 2011 are the CECH-25xx series and slim models from late 2011 to 2012 are the CECH-30xx series. These things are also great in terms of power efficiency and come with good Blu-Ray driver controllers embedded in the motherboard for greatly improved Blu-Ray reliability. GPUs and CPUs on these have great reliability as well. If you don't like the super slim models and want the slim model, definitely go for these. 3. CECH-21xx slim models from early 2010 to mid 2010. These slim models are pretty decent in terms of power efficiency and reliability of the Blu-Ray drive, CPU, and GPU. CECH-25xx and CECH-30xx slims are just better. 4. CECH-20xx slims (launch edition slims from 2009). These things produce high amounts of heat output, weakening the console's reliability and making it susceptible to overheating and hardware failures. It's best to avoid these when shopping for slim models. 5. Original "fat" PS3 models from 2006 to 2009. No surprises here. These models have the highest power consumption and are extremely susceptible to overheating and hardware failures leading up to the yellow light of death (YLOD). Later original models from 2008 and 2009 are more reliable than earlier models that are backwards compatible with PS2 disks (original models from 2006 to 2007 excluding the CECHGxx and CECHHxx models released in late 2007 with a 40 GB HDD) but I'm increasingly seeing original models from 2008 to 2009 overheat and run into hardware problems. All of the earliest models from 2006 to 2007 (both PS2 backwards compatible from 2006 to mid 2007 and not PS2 backwards compatible models from late 2007) are the most susceptible to the YLOD and if those haven't succumbed to the YLOD yet, it's only a matter of time when they eventually do succumb to the YLOD. If you wish to commit to purchasing a PS3 that's compatible with PS2 disks, definitely proceed with caution on those models. If compatibility with PS2 disks is nothing important because you already have a working PS2, etc., just go for the reliable late slims and super slims.

@@BigJimGaming. sure thing. Oh and almost forgot to mention in the initial comment, the first 2 versions of the PS3 slim (CECH-20xx and CECH-21xx) have the Blu-Ray disc daughterboard paired to the motherboard and every PS3 super slim model has the Blu-Ray drive controller embedded in the motherboard like the last 2 slims (CECH-25xx and CECH-30xx) to reduce power draw and the likelihood of disk readability issues due to a failed Blu-Ray drive. Over the years, I'm seeing an increase of early slim models (numerous CECH-20xx and the CECH-21xx models every once in a while) run into problems reading disks due to defects on the Blu-Ray drive. The absolute worst PS3 models are the original "fat" CECHGxx and CECHHxx models released in late 2007 with a 40 GB HDD for the following reasons: 1. These are the first PS3s with disk based PS2 backwards compatibility completely axed as a cost cutting maneuver for Sony to make their system cheaper 2. These models still use the 90 nm GPU that made earlier PS3s with disk based PS2 backwards compatibility susceptible to the YLOD 3. These models have redesigned cooling systems that are cheaper and have less air flow (no front intake vents), making them susceptible to overheating 4. These models have horrendous heatsinks that weaken the GPU's reliability. If you're shopping for an original "fat" PS3 for any reason, avoid the late 2007 models (CECHGxx and CECHHxx) at all costs.

The basic gameplay actually stems from an old flash game called Motherload in 2004 that pushed boundaries in scale of what a browser game could do. Simply digging down, mining for the best gems to buy upgrades that let you dig deeper and mine more valuable ore, but leaving a safe route back to the surface whilst minding your fuel gauge enough for the return journey. Steamworld Dig added a ton of story and quality animation that makes it much more entertaining to play. It doesn't outstay it's welcome though like many open world explorathons.

Well and the lack of a driving element is ironic since the rolling of his Aston set a world record. From what I have heard they tried to roll the Aston a bunch of times with a ramp. The car was so stable that it would correct itself and land on it's wheels. So the used a ram.... I don't recall if it was hydraulic or pneumatic. After they got the car rolling, it flipped 7 times.

Honestly as far as I know the only way to back up your saves is with a NSO subscription. If you have never had one there’s usually a 7 day free trial so you could sign up for that, use it to transfer your saves and then just make sure you cancel it before the 7 days ends or they will automatically charge you. If you’re not eligible for the free trial then the only option is to sign up for it, just do it for 1 month I think it cost around £4, again just make sure you cancel it before the month is up so you don’t get automatically charged for a second month if you don’t want to keep it. Hope this helps a little bit 👍🏻

I think the Super Slim gets a bad rap. I've had a Slim and a Super and the Super is much more quiet and very reliable (apart from not being able to update it but that's Sony falling down). Maybe because I have the white one I think it looks right nice sitting next to my silver PS2 slim. I like the manual disc loading tray. It's one less part that will eventually break!

I completely agree, as I said in the video my super slim is spot on, definitely an improvement over the phat model I had before. The smaller memory doesn’t bother me as I only play physical games and very few install, if they do there’s enough room and 12gb is plenty for game saves 😀👍🏻

@@stashmerkin9576 I was planning on doing that with mine when I got it but I never got round to it, I do have another super slim I got for £5 with a dodgy laser that I’m going to fix soon so I have a spare, it looks easy enough to replace, I will probably make a video out of me doing it depending how well it goes 🤣

I’ve just checked and it’s on steam on sale for £2.99 which is around what I paid for it on the switch when it was on sale there 😀👍🏻

Everyone really should have a computer. Even if it's a $50 laptop that can at least run Windows 10.

You’re probably right, I stick to my iPad because I’m really useless with computers but I’m genuinely tempted with something like a steam deck, I do want to buy something to try out emulation at some point 😀👍🏻

@@BigJimGaming. I plan to probably get a Steamdeck at some point as I have a bunch of Steam games I've bought when sales happen that I never play as my computer wasn't powerful enough to play them. Though I got a newer computer I haven't tried out yet. But I'm wanting to hack my Switch to emulate games on it as I hate doing it on the computer. But I may instead get a Steamdeck as emulate there and use it to play my Steam games. I'll probably wait and see if the Switch 2 gets a must have game when it launches, If not, I'll probably get a Steamdeck OLED. Or I'll see what sales happen on black friday.

@@colt5189 my only concerns with a steam deck are for myself are; will I be able to use it as I am genuinely useless with computers, I can see myself selling it after a few months because it’s too difficult for me to work so not fun for me. Also as is it’s been out a year or two I don’t know how long before they launch a more powerful “steam deck 2” and the current one is out of date. I might be better off buying something like an Anbernic for £60 or £70 and asking a friend to use their computer to put Roms on it for me

Isn't that game Retro City Rampage?
@BigJimGaming.

It’s Shakedown Hawaii, same devs but this game is in a 16 bit style and retro city rampage is in a 8 bit style. Retro city rampage is a good fun game too I just prefer shakedown Hawaii 😀👍🏻

Absolutely not. It was designed for a 32-bit CPU, used sprites but also 3D models too. 3D models were used for the map.

Hi, as has already been said the original PlayStation was 32 bit and I think it had some other technology in it as well to allow the 3d games. I remember when it first came out and being blown away by the graphics compared to the 16 bit Sega mega drive I had before, I still play PS1 games but the 16 bit style that came before it seems to have aged better than those early PlayStation games now 😀👍🏻

I was hoping for more games that aren’t playable on pc. With the 360 store going down this month I wanted to find some games that are going to be inaccessible after that.

Honestly when I made that video I didn’t take PC into account just physical copies of games, I’m not up to date on digital games as I tend to only buy digitally if there’s not a physical available

@@BigJimGaming. ah, well yeah almost every game on the list is in my steam library. But there’s digital games stuck on the 360 like splosion man. It’d be cool to maybe see another video before the stores are down because we’re about to lose a good amount of games this month.
