Awful, far too slow, just give it up. This is not how I want to hear these pieces. The guys voice is terrible. It's just bad.

Jon Anderson was, is and always will be the voice of YES... Steve Howe needs to understand that this is just a tribute band... Jon Anderson with the band geeks is YES....

Was this the first tour where they used the screens as their backdrop instead of props/inflatables? They weren’t using video screens the 2 times I saw this lineup (which were both before 2011)
@papermirror419721 күн бұрын
Correction: I didn’t see this lineup! I saw the Oliver lineup twice, I forgot Downes had already rejoined in 2011. So the video screens became the standard backdrop at the same time as Downes’ return. Interesting

I’ve seen YES Many times and I was so shocked over this performance I couldn’t bear to go back stage and meet them. I didn’t want to remember them like this. Please, Please, retire. You’re to great of a band to go down like this…

You got that right. I used to love Steve Howe and now I absolutely hate him today.
@Cristiano-kv7zl6 күн бұрын
@@Lynjupiter1 I don't hate Steve Howe but he's not even a (musical) shadow of the younger version. And I'm not even talking about his absolute prime. THIS was particularly painful. And it was sad to see Alan White - who obviously already was very sick - meandering on just a snare and a cymbal.

I remember my dad coming home with this brand new CD in 1994. I was only 3 years old and my dad helped me read the title, "Talk", and then we listened to it together. Jon Anderson's voice is like a radio signal from Heaven.

I remember Yahoo showed this live on August 19, 2014. I stayed up late Central Time Zone to watch it. Great show. I remember thinking at the time that I didn't like Juano (Jon Davison) singing songs like Close to the Edge, And You and I, and We Have Heaven because to me those are Jon Anderson songs. But over time I have gotten used to it. hell it's been 10 years. Jon Davison seems like a good man. And I always get him confused with Korn lead singer Johnathan Davis. Confusing times for me.... Anyway all the grumpy YES fans can stick it because the crowd in San Jose cheered loudly for Geoff after Cans and Brahms. And these songs came of well.
