I genuinely don’t know how you expect to be taken seriously among coffee people using a blade grinder. Also the premise of this video is that you did someone else’s method and then it worked? Might want to workshop your ideas a bit more before you shoot.

Hey everyone so i bought the wrong coffee and come accross this video but what i did was u no the kettle has a filter usually you can pull out at the front i took that out and used it as a strainer worked ok lol, thanks for the advice.

His technique is great in order to achieve a cleaner cup. But the ratio seems wrong to me. 1:17 ratio is way to mild. I've done this with hundreds of grind sizes but I never get to have a nice cup. However, adding more coffee to a 1:12 or 1:13 ratio seems to improve this

Wow why is keurig so popular then??? Smh. So basically I have to make two cups back to back using twice the amount of coffee. Nice marketing scam. I think I’ll return this expensive hunk of junk and stick with my farberware that has a big honkin reusable filter. 😡

Buy Hario paper filter 02, heat the cup, add 10 gramm coffee per 120 gramm water, add 92C water, stirr for 15-20 sec, wait 2 min, take the paper buy hands to drain - and you have very nice cup of coffee

My supreme brews watered down coffee. I see the water coming through around the center, clearly not going through the filter. This is when I use refillable k cup, the my-k and others. Any help out there?

It's PoPular because it's LatinoX based name brand simply. That community is quite ethnocentric and unified around Latino Hispanic brands. If it was named something like Busters coffee they would stay clear for the most part unless they found out it was from 🇨🇺 Cuba Dominican 🇩🇴 or Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 they would support. To me it's cheap harsh bitter coffee mostly.

Bustelo to me can be intense harsh but rather bitter. Not short jittery effects and or caffeine or it c a n be smoother earthy with chocolate notes. Never fails to Stimulate the Bladder so stay by the toilet to urinate. Yes I'm from Brooklyn NYC always cheap busteloavailable I choose better brands like Peet or Starbucks.

This always bugs me about these types of products, or products that have a “richer” or “bolder” button - strength has much more to do with the ratio and less to do with your machine’s features. That being said, most Americans typically drink coffee flavored products so they wouldn’t notice or care - do you!

I can't believe you used green coffee traders as your taste test JBM! I've have spent thousands for JBM and can say that Green Coffee Traders is the worst JBM coffee I've ever tasted! you can tell by the price as with any JBM coffee. Volcanica, the most expensive ($7.81 a oz.), is the smoothes and tied with Aroma Ridge ($5.62 oz) in flavor. If you truly want a JBM coffee that is certified (you can tell by the jbm seal) and jacra certified. I tried green coffee traders and, augh, smelled as bad as it tasted and I should've known by the price it was crap. if you're spending less than $70 for a pound then it probably isn't JMB or just not good JBM. Peaberry is the best too but even more expensive. Do yourself a favor and try the other brands cause if you thought this was good... augh.

It really isn't about being a coffee snob, its all about what quality of (how many) taste buds you were born with. I have massive taste buds putting me in the high taster/super taster category. I would gag choking down any instant coffee in the morning. Your BILs probably have more taste buds, also.

Good video. I find that the disposable pods still make a stronger coffee at the large or medium setting than the reusable pods with the same amount of coffee in them. I just don’t think the reusables allow the water to percolate slow enough so it ends up diluted. I hate the disposable pods so I’d like to find a way to improve the process for the reusable pods.
