LED bulbs are NOT LEGAL, none are DOT approved, nor are they designed to be used in older headlamps as they can't be aligned properly! They generally say FOR OFF ROAD USE ONLY to skate the legal ramifications. Message to anyone with these coming at you on the road, return the favor and put your high beams on and blind them until they drive by.

Selling props, gimmicks and points brings justification for higher prices even if it costs a buck fifty to add a fan. Its more about profit margins which they don't shed any lights on as it takes the polish of buying led bulbs with high tech reasons to further justify the higher prices.
