Marines are different from the Army, because they only want to be Marines. They don’t enlist for a trade skill or college money. They are happy with violence.🪖🇺🇸

I remember someone wanting to be a Navy Seal and the recruiter told him if you don’t make it or get hurt, then you are a sailor… if you go Marines you are a Marine period. Every Marine is a rifleman, regardless of MOS. Another Marine was born that day 🤣

Still works at treat today. Two of my oldest friends are Marines and they are as squared away as you could ever want in a human being. I have achieved some incredible things in my life, but I would give it all back for a chance just to be a US Marine for a day.

It’s definitely a special bond us Marines have. I ran into a Marine at the butcher last week, didn’t know him but we talked for 30min like life long friends. I can’t explain why, but that’s the way it is with us jar heads.

When I watched my brother walk across the parade ground at Parris Island, recruit platoon 1034, it was one of the proudest moments of my life. He went in as a drug addicted, troubled teenager. He came out so sharp you could shave with him. The Marines will teach you things about yourself that you didn't think were possible.
