Phily is another example of why math education is so important. Thinking everything has to be 50/50 is so retarded, and it stems from not passing ratio class in math. People don't understand basic concepts in statistics.

Yes football is objectively atrocious in terms of brain damage. The data is CRYSTAL CLEAR. It should be banned for anyone under 18 years old. After that, let people hurt themselves if they want.

Shoes still matter quite a bit, especially when something like the Alphafly is very different from all the other shoes (and it sold out before everyone who wanted a pair could get them) and the Evos aren't available.

Great interview and really interesting to hear from her, esp the athlete/content creator balance. Go smash it in Houston! Btw the bottles Philly is talking about are squeeze wash bottles, which are often for lab use. If these specific ones are for lab use, the plastic shouldn't leak any chemicals into the liquid, but I wouldn't bet on it. During racing it's probably fine but I wouldn't use them during training

if you want anything to do with goggin get off social media and stop peacocking. The more you talk about him the less you understand what he's trying to preach.

I ran both marathon also, and lost to CJ on both obviously, but I did the Baja marathon 6 min more than CIM even though Mexicali is super flat it’s just a bridge that is like 25 feet and short 🤷🏻♂️. So for him to do that was spectacular but he did had to fight for it with a 🇰🇪 runner. And I think that he also saw the prize money involved for getting the course record (wish he did). So I bet he put all that on the balance to give it a try. Great talk guys

I really enjoy Emily's content. She's certainly a lot faster than me, but I do appreciate a real sorta "middle-pack" runner that has a similarly high-stress career.

I would say if you want to do NY...you should just go into it with 0 expectations! If you want to PR - go to a smaller race.
