I am having difficulty removing the canopy from the Liki Trike - the two prongs are not coming out of the placement when trying to pull them (refer to 0:58 in video). Any tips?

I just got mine delivered but that baby looks uncomfortable in that harness. I think it's too deep & rigid, hopefully my baby won't cry in it

Hi! The Doona is actually regulated by size, not age. It's suitable for babies up to 32 inches and 35 pounds 🙂

At this moment, there is no launch date for the Doona X in the US. For the time being, we will continue selling the current US Doona version ❤️

I like how Doona makes their system seem sp effortless to pick up and place in your vehicle. Its very heavy since day one but gets absurdly heavy as baby gets older. It is not easy at all getting this carseat into a car, especially a sedan.

Hi there! It is not recommended to keep a baby in any car seat or stroller for long periods of time, so we recommend taking baby out every so often to get a good stretch. Of course it is okay for a baby to stay in a car seat for a little while, and most parents typically follow the 2 hour rule.

Our seat belt locks up. So when you try to take it out. It’s basically near impossible.

This is great, but not all vehicles seat belts will go to the back of the Doona. I found out 2 years ago when putting my Doona in my mother's vehicle when borrowing it. If the seat doesn't reach the back of the seat, is it safe to use without the base? Or do I need to grab the base when using a different vehicle that won't reach around the back of the seat?

Why isn’t this in the US yet?! The rebound bar (as opposed to the base on the Evenflo Shyft) is why we are considering this for use in the city in the US. However, the position of the seat is a big deterrent so this would be ideal (better for baby’s neck/ breathing if stuck in stroller)….this would be so much better!!!

@@doonapoor design the belt tension mechanism needs to be directly attached to the latch for the seat anchor. There is to much dead space between the two to get the belt tight enough

Hi @lia1094 - lots of tall customers comfortably use the Doona, because it doesn't have a bar between the wheels for tall people to kick. When fully extended, the Doona's handle is 99cm off the ground.

When should you remove the head support?

Hi @andreinaperez3692, as long as your baby is happy with the Head Support, it should stay in at all times. But actually, the Doona was tested with and without the Head Support, as well as with and without the Infant Insert and successfully passed the FMVSS 213 in all instances. However, we say that it is important not to remove the Head Support when driving because it offers more side impact protection in the unfortunate case of an accident.

Hi @Mediatrix_dash, there is not an age limit for any car seat, only weight limits. The weight limit for the Doona+ is 13kgs (for the EU version) and 35lbs (for the US version). What we've noticed is that people stop using the Doona from any age between 1-2 years old (so probably 1.5 is the most common age).
