Don’t plant marigold seed too deep. They should be surface sown or only half stuck in the soil.

Make sure you don't use cardboard with labels.. I just did my landscaping with cardboard. It looks amazing.. I did it a little different, but the cardboard works

Hey with love you're wasting money! Instead of buying by the bag for a project like that find your local landscape supplier (mine is a rock quarry) and buy soil by the cubic yard. Looks like you'd need a half yard. I'd be spending several thousands on bags for my own project and buying by the yard is only coming up to less than $300 for 4 cubic yards. I'm sheet mulching my whole front yard.

Where are you in zone 8 where you don’t get a hard freeze every year? I’m in 8b and deep freezes at least 10 times a year.

Being banned in the uk because it causes cancer. Yet people use it on kids play areas and plant bedding. The US seem to just not care. I wish you good health i would not use this myself.

What is garden soil vs potting mix? I'd assume one goes in ground but not sure on that one.

Potting soil is more porous than garden soil because it uses amendments such as perlite. That way, water drains better and the soil is less compacted in the pot. Potting soil is also meant to be used by itself while garden soil is usually mixed with your native soil.

Pole Beans (Green Beans), Pumpkins or Crooked Neck Squash make great choices for trellis tunneling. I need to try growing bee balm & sunflowers again in my garden. I would love to see you do a video of the transplants in the peat pots. I need to try to plant more hummingbird plants too. About to set out my hummingbird feeders soon with the migration soon. Thanks for sharing this wonderful video with us! ❤

Pole beans would be fun! I miss my garden so much, I have hesitated to plant more because I would need to be out there watering every day, so I'm relying more and more on plants that take care of themselves. My crinum lily has a bloom on it so I've been enjoying watch it develop a little more every day.

If you paint a person does that mean we can no longer paint that person? Banksy's complaint is about exact copies without compensation. Compare this to a painting of Elvis, Madonna, et al. There are similarities between 'Star Wars' and 'Harry Potter' but they are definitely different stories.

You're so lucky to live in such a warm climate! We get really hard frost every year, and so many plants perish, unless you dig them up in the fall and store in a cellar during the winter. Some thrive though, alliums for example, and the way you use chives was very inspiring! Thanks for the lovely video!
