These videos are always a highlight of my day. They are so fun and informative. I live in Phoenix but my little girl and I go to Anaheim several times each year so I like staying up to date on what is new and happening in Anaheim. Also, it was like seeing a friend on tv when watching million dollar listing the other night! You do a great job!

So this is what the rich people feel like when they take over a small town and push everybody out... happened to me before, I've seen these types show up out of nowhere. And the majority of the folks that already live in that area aren't making wages that are going to be keep them in that area, after the "amazing transformation" Lol Not to mention they're just going to make it look like everywhere else. Let me guess you got a Dave & busters, a Bww, coffee shops, and all the rest of the corporate Crew... Woohoo...

One thing I love about Anaheim is the amount of support we have for small businesses. We love to support our local, small businesses because they are the heart of our community! For example, I LOVE to grab coffee from Okayama, Nicks Bagels or Tierra Mia rather than supporting Starbucks. These developments will give more opportunity to new locals-owned small businesses and so much more.
@brandonjerome
@brandonjerome 4 күн бұрын
@@LivingInAnaheim now would that be a pre-existing small business? Very wealthy child's venture because they want to find themselves. Anaheim is like visiting and living in Virginia and DC. 😅 Traffic is nuts all the damn time here. 😂 I live in Arlington VA. We are close to everything. Traffic is always crazy. Cost of living is also pricey here. Anyway, we’re thinking of moving to Anaheim California. If we’re going to pay a lot for rent, we may as well move to an area we actually like!

I think this sounds GREAT! More housing density is a GOOD thing. So what about only having parking for residents? If anything, we should encourage more communities like this, to try and push the city to develop a more robust public transportation option. I live just 3 miles from the Packing House but have zero options to get there aside from driving or Uber. I think that's a bigger issue than having parking go away.

People please rescue animals....humans use dogs as baby makers self then to people who "think they are capable of taking care of a do" they realize it's not always so much fun it's actually love loyalty and work to coexist with beautiful animals. If you really want a dog a homeless dog or a chance. I rescued a 5mos. Kitten from Kensington Philadelphia and brought to the suburbs she's so grateful, beautiful and deserving.

I remember the city of aneheim was difficult to cooperate to disneyland ever since those proposals of a hotel and parking structure was planned and scrapped. Then came the pandemic and the city realized how big of a difference it was without Disney. I could be wrong though, but either way I am kinda looking foward to the new additions to the park. THE ONE THING that bothers me was the STC Anaheim GardenWalk Mall, When I visited there last year, There was barely anything to do, 90% of the stores closed, and most of them felt like strolling to japan town with arcade like style machines and novelty stores. I Never seen a shopping district empty on a tuesday afternoon. sorry if this comment sounds bad or good, I think my concern right now isn't the tourists but more of the income and the interests of enjoying there. Still, Looking forward to seeing it happen

Thank you for your comment! I’m glad the city has finally approved this project. It’s going to be such a good thing for Anaheim and I’m looking forward to seeing all these changes! And I agree with you about the Gardenwalk. I’m there almost every day to go to the gym and it’s empty every time. This place is only packed when there are conventions in town or on the weekends for the House of Blues. It’s also busy when they have the Japan Fair weekend. I would definitely like to see better shopping and restaurants here.

That rideshare area is too tiny for the park and definitely needs an upgrade. Should be interesting to see where they'll build the parking structures, just have the monorail running down harbor and being utilized like as envisioned, as an actual mode of transportation from remote parking into the park.

I don’t know a single soul that’s THAT into the film at all. I’ve been to the one in Florida and it’s really neat . But neat enough that Californians need here too? Nah. That sounds awful. That’s all well and good but California is an absolute disaster and that’s why a million and counting have fled because of Gavin newsomes poor leadership and destructive policies and massive deficit all those problems get passed onto the people the cost of living, energy prices, food prices, taxes is out of control and value for money is non existent . Where I live you can live like a king on a $100k a year in California you live paycheck to paycheck like a broke college student I wouldn’t give those corrupt politicians a dime of my money passing costs onto the people for their ignorant failed economic policies and out of control spending rampant homelessness and crime you couldn’t pay me to live in Cali
