Hi, With these moulds I used ceramic powder. Stamperia has a powder.

So beautiful! Why didn’t you paint the inside?? It would look even better! I always finish my boxes by putting a satin fabric inside. 😍

Yes, you're right. I usually paint the inside but I didn't paint it this time. Yes, satin fabric is beautiful. I might use fabric for the inside next time!

What do you use to harden the butterfly and the flower?

I've used Das air dry clay, which hardens when it dries so I just painted it. If I used Hearty air dry clay which is lighter and more flexible I would have used Varnish after painting to harden the piece.

Absolutely lovely. I really like the blue ornament, but the others are also magnificent. Happy to be a new subscriber. Thank you for sharing. QUESTION: Could you please explain”ceramic powder”.? It appears similar to plaster of Paris - how long does this stuff take to set?

Thank you. Plaster of Paris is made of gypsum. The Stamperia ceramic powder is a quick setting powder that has a ceramic, marble look when it dries. It sets in 20 to 40 minutes. It also depends on the humidity of your space. My ornaments set in an hour.

Yes, you can, of course the design will melt with the candle. I don't light my decoupaged candles, I use them as christmas decor.
