Lyrics: Can't complain Spooning medicine You're blocking my sun with that blue cape always on I marvel at the portrait as it dries I aim to sour all this sharp teen fang Come down from there come down Come down from there You don't wanna jump Missed the plane Woke up in the airport at the baggage claim The carousel found me luggage I lost years before I marvel at the postcards in my spine I am to claim all this sharp teen fang Come down from there come down Come down from there You don't wanna jump Come down from there Get down here Come off that ledge Hell's such a long dive Such a hard dive You roll a-ways Legs feeling weaker Such a hard dive Such a hard dive

I love music from the 1980s to 2000s. This is a very cool track I found while this got recommended to me. Also, I got a question about an early 90s song that is unidentified, do you know a song which goes like "words that try to resurface" and then has a guitar solo? There's a 5 second clip in youtube of it but nobody knows who made the song. Your channel has a lot of music ranging from 1990-1994. Do you know any band that sounds similar or the song itself? Would appreciate the answer,

Damn, the fact that there is little-to-nothing on this band from Google, is a tragedy. A really good, solid rock band. I used to subscribe to Columbia House, and got this album as an automatic monthly thing... gave it a listen, and was hooked. Just a good, solid band. I would love to here them make a comeback. BTW, thanks for posting this. It really takes me back. 👍

Small bands like this that never got any recognition make me sad, it’s just melancholic. This playlist of this album is the only mention of this band on the entire internet. No cds on eBay, no interviews on old websites, no uploads on Spotify, nothing. Just this one playlist where it will stay for eternity.

@@Dreamofthe90s I don’t want you do give away your secrets too much, but is there a method to your CD buying that yields some of these more obscure but high quality finds?
@Dreamofthe90s
@Dreamofthe90s 4 күн бұрын
@@ajh229 I happen to be located in what I think is a very good area for finding good used CDs, the Triangle region of North Carolina (Chapel Hill, Durham, and Raleigh). Chapel Hill, where I am, is especially a college town with University of North Carolina just down the road, and Duke University, NC State University, etc. not far away. So there are a good number of record stores and thrift stores, even though some have closed or stopped carrying CDs in recent years. This area also has a rich musical history of its own, with a lot of great indie rock and other music coming from the area especially in the 80s, 90s, and 2000s. As for my buying methods, what helps a lot is knowing what to filter out, so I'm not pulling out lots of better-known releases that are already going to be available online. The more writing you see on the CD spine besides the artist and album name, the more likely it's associated with a bigger label, or even a major label. You get to know the major label logos and their coding by sight after awhile. An obscure release may be on some tiny label, or it may be self-released, but there's a much greater chance of that when you see minimal writing. This Eclypse EP for example just has the word "Eclypse" on the spine. Things like fonts and design can be a giveaway of release era too, which you'll notice with practice. Aside from this, I look for unusual band and album names, track lists, lyrics, and album art, something where there seems to be a little thought behind it, though I've also found quite ordinary looking stuff that just happens to be obscure and surprisingly good. I work a 9 to 5, but I have spent a lot of free time over the years at these thrift stores, record stores, CD / record shows, and library sales, so I've also just developed a feel for what will be a good pick. It's always a gamble and I certainly make mistakes, whether in the album turning out to be not good, or just that I didn't research enough and it can already be streamed. But since I mainly buy CDs that are around 50 cents to $2 apiece (maybe up to $3 to $5 or so if it's a record store, but I get more restrained there because it adds up otherwise), there isn't a lot of downside to a bad pick. It takes time, practice, and dedication, and also being willing to walk away from places empty-handed a lot. I'd say if you're in a good college town or near a major metro, this stuff is probably lurking in decent quantities, given enough time and energy.

@christianbravo2110 Here's a download link: www.mediafire.com/folder/hlcom3vafwdsl/Einstein For this one I'd refer you back to Discogs at www.discogs.com/release/12057658-Einstein-Einstein-Won. They released a second album, Einstein Two, in 2002 (the one I uploaded is called Einstein Won in some listings, but my copy just has the word Einstein, though there was another release of the album on a different label which possibly lists the name that way on the spine). One of the Amazon reviews for that album notes that they toured with and were managed by the same company as Dream Theatre.

@christianbravo2110 Here's a download link: www.mediafire.com/folder/95z76k5nrgtm9/Eclypse I found this one, along with some others I've uploaded and more I have yet to upload, while visiting family in my hometown in south Florida earlier this summer. From the liner notes: Steve Walbroehl: Vocals, Lead Guitar Todd Rothermel: Drums Chris Kowalski: Bass Guitar Keith Labell: Rhythm Guitar Recorded at Radar Recording Studios, North Miami Beach, Florida Engineered and mixed by J.T. Eclypse logo by Steve Walbroehl Produced by Eclypse Going by the band photo and acknowledgments, these guys were very young, probably in high school. One of them is wearing a Machine Head - Burn My Eyes shirt (which album the band is now celebrating the 30th anniversary for, by releasing some early 1992-1993 recordings preceding that album) and another is wearing a Pantera - Far Beyond Driven shirt. A third is wearing possibly another band shirt but I cannot identify it. I haven't found any other information.
