Xdrive is switchable for both these cars but they make the g80 rwd only also (ie it is not xdrive at all)

Great video Tommy. Going through this choice again at the moment, but angling towards another M5. Great analogy about which one is best, in that it does depend on your lifestyle, and how you use the car, ive said exactly the same thing, time and time again. Another point i agree on, is, in the M5 i feel exactly the same when in the car, really really happy, and that is difficult to describe on a video. If the M5 is a couple of ticks slower when tuned, who cares ?, when you are at this league of performance, its irrelevant .Loved the comment on getting in and out of the buckets, "bladdy orrible", made me laugh😂 . Have a good trip, M4/5 Simon 👍

I was at the stealership Saturday 7/13/24 getting an oil change for my '20 competition, and the SA told me BMW finally has a recall out for this issue. I'm taking mine in this week.

@@rockyrobin24 at least it's new. I don't think these were failing new so I'm glad they had a recall. Some of the aftermarket solutions are straight up price gouges and of questionable long-term effectiveness as well.

I have a 2022 bmw m5. I just had the radiator replaced for a rock going threw it. While I was there the guy told me that bmw is doing a recall for my car soon about this exact issue.

I currently have a stock m5 with bootmod stage 1 OTS map. What gains do you typically see from a stage 1 to stage 2? Debating if spending the money for exhaust to go stage 2 is worth it.

I have a Fiesta ST 180 stage 2 240bhp , I changed from a de cat to Scorpion Sports Cat and the mpg was 35/36 mph with a de cat ,after sports cat fitted and full service including plugs also switching from Shell V power 99 Ron to Momentum I'm getting 39.3 mpg. No smell now when driving with the windows open no noticeable power loss and passes the MOT
