This video has made me cry more than i care to admit. I am by no means a soldier. Never fought in a war. Not even old enough to have done so. But this hits a spot in me that reminds me of the emotional war I've been fighting within myself since I was a child. The escapism Mickey experiences, the complete detachment from reality, I did that. I'm not even 20 yet, but I lived my life outside of reality for so long that when I let myself actually feel again, it broke me. And this video reminds me a lot about it. So if anyone has experienced any sort of trauma that they're reliving, don't make the same mistakes as so many of us do. Confront it before it destroys you on the inside.
