In the book of Job it says He said, “Naked I came [into this world] from my mother's womb, And naked I will return there. And also Jesus said John the baptizer is Elijah. So there is 2 separate instances where the Bible mentions reincarnation.

I am not sure I understand you correctly, but if I do, - then look into what Samadhi is. Not many people get to experience that which is beyond the thinking mind. It is a thing you have to "feel" for yourself, because it can't be understood with the thinking mind. Ram Dass is trying to point you to Samadhi without saying it directly. It has been described in many cultures, all around the globe, for as long as there have been humans. Therefore it has been packaged in different stories/analogies fitting the specific culture, language and time. But they all point to the same thing. Maybe watch "Samadhi Movie, 2017 - Part 1 - "Maya, the Illusion of the Self"" here on youtube.

It is always a pleasant surprise when life allows me to reconnect with the initial companions who embarked on this extraordinary and enigmatic journey of returning home. They provided encouragement, embraced me affectionately like a lost child, reassured me, held my hands, and guided me along the path. We shared laughter and tears, and then our paths diverged. However, they unexpectedly reappear today, filling me with an overwhelming sense of gratitude and grace in the present moment.

7:44 as a open minded human maybe to a degree of damage… I’ve done that with animals a lot and it was draining… I just think we all have something to say lol it’s funny how naive we can be and how graceful life still is to us as long as we grow

Who you are is neither born nor does it die. Who you are neither comes nor goes. It just is. You can call it awareness or isness. But you can't really grasp it. You can only be it. -Ram Dass

We are NOT god. But we are a miniscule part of GOD. Simultaneously one,but different. We are the same in quality, but vastly different in quantity. Like a drop of salt water in comparison to the entire ocean.

Do you think about being thought? The self-belief of those thoughts. Muscular tension efforting you as the self believing thoughts to stop identifying you as thought. Thoughts being thoughts, observing the thoughts. Watching the observer observing the thoughts as more thoughts. Beyond the observer of thoughts...
