The paranid will get cold after being exposed to the vacuum of space? how? where does their heat go? ... this is why scifi writers should first learn basic space physics and biology before bothering to write a single word....what was that about a white star? did they mean white dwarf? cause anything orbiting a white dwarf (which is the remnant of a dead star the size of our sun) should probably be ice cold...or...whatever...i still like the x series but i dont understand why sci fi writers dont bother to get some basic knowledge about space before they start making their stories and worlds

It’s a common way of saying what time it is. Kind of like a universal GMT idea. So that two beings that are not in the same position can talk about an event in a unified way. So an example is that one person is at school and tell another person that they had fun at the theme park in another country and asked if they felt the earthquake at 13:00 GMT and the other person says they had felt it. And the other person had to translate the time into local time and it was 15:00 local time.

I have a theory about the Teladi. Their entire Philosophy, revolves around the acquisition of wealth. Profiteering permeates every aspect of their lives. They live for it. Thing is, just because their culture is stiped in greed, profit and wealth acquisition, it does not mean it is something natural to them. After hundreds of years chasing money, it's all they know and all they've learned. They are not really capable of anything else. A Teladi only loves money, so they don't know how to love a friend or a partner. And since most other Teladi are like this, and other races don't live that long or are compatible, he can never find meaning in a family or comradery even if he was able to look past profits. It's a sad vicious cycle. A Teladi only wants to know new ways to make money. Knowledge and discovery are therefore only serve money making. Where a human or a boron who thirst for knowledge and discovery for their sake(and would feel blessed if they could live that long), It is a drab endeavor for the Teladi, an obstacle to more profit. So A teladi Doesn't know how to feel excitement for scientific discovery and knowledge. So whether they realize all these things or not, their life loses meaning and they lose their will to live.

Maybe you or someone here can help me out. I'm having a heckuva time building stations , the controls for manipulating the modules is quite fiddly and I can't get the modules to spin on the axis I want with the right click and hold . If I spin the camera around the module then it will change the axis but not necessarily to the one I need or would anticipate from camera angle. I would love if they just had a 3 keys for spinning on the 3 axis when you have the module selected .... any tips? ty in advance
