Needing a guru. Didn't Bhagavan say: > Seek Guru only within ourself? . Is it B/c We are all in essence already the Guru and enlightened? . Arunachala or a person (guru) are objects. And objects/the world are not exisistent? I find it all very Quite confusing and complicated.

David truly is the ultimate gift from Bhagavan. When I hear David speak I can feel Bhagavan speaking to me through him to get me to turn inward. I have learned more from David about Truth than I will ever from reading any book about Bhagavan. I will never be able to put into words the amount of insights and mental clarity David has given me about Bhagavan’s teachings and about Atman Vichara. Thank You David and most importantly Thank You Bhagavan 🙏

This is true Nonduality that doesn't pander to the fiction that there is a "purpose" to the nonexistent individual body/mind... and that that purpose is for "us" to "enjoy"/"experience" the "world". That is not a "compassionate" teaching. It creates the fog of illogic and misinformation. It breeds confusion and darkness. There is no objective world to be experienced, and no-one to do it.

What David Godman expresses is true Nonduality. There is absolutely no pandering to the concept that there is a world that we are here to enjoy and experience. There is no pandering to the notion of a finite mind and self, as if they are somehow legitimate and real -even temporarily. There is no legitimizing of so-called personal minds and selves, with the fictional narrative that they have a function, a reality, a purpose. There isn't any pandering to the notion that so called personal minds/selves/bodies have the function or meaning of allowing "us" to "experience" the "world". How could that ever be the case? There is no objective world to be experienced, and no one to do it. This uncompromising teaching clears away the muck of dualistic teachings that create a mental fog, obscuring what is real and true. A teaching that justifies duality by suggesting its purpose is to enable "us" to enjoy "experience" is not compassionate. It is contradictory and illogical.

Whenever you awaken from a dream you can realize you were not just the person in the dream but the whole dream, ALL of it. You shifted perspective. THAT shift of perspective is awakening, that is enlightenment. Now wake up into the dream called life and start applying that very same shift of perspective.

@@GeertMeertens Often when I listen to people like David or Michael James talking about Bhagavan , I go into a kind of reverie . So my statement was really a rhetorical one , but thank you for your comment anyway .
