This didn’t solve it for me but I DID notice the last batch that ran never advanced the “batch clock” it said it completed in 1:17 hours. I think you’re on to something with this and my time clock WAS wrong so I fixed it and it’s not working still. Erg!

I ordered the exact bulb for my 2015 cbr300. The installation was like on a car (simple). They looked just like yours, however, when using turn signals it would flash turnsignal then headlight with no stop. Also, the bike wouldnt start with the led headlights in. Everything is stock. I took them out ans put in the original bulbs. It started up fine and turn signals worked as expected. Any advice???

Do you mean which order? No, I think it doesn't matter either you do any individual cell before the others as long as you fill all of them within a few minutes of each other.

I haven't made much progress.... partially because I've been pretty busy, but also I've been pretty worried that I'll screw up the next part. One of the things I did recently that I haven't made a video about - I built an electric go kart. Was super helpful for understanding the electrical layout and drive train. Hopefully I'll have more time to work on it this summer!

😅 not yet. I've still got about 2 $2k worth of new parts in boxes waiting for me to find the time and motivation to figure it out. To anyone that wants to avoid putting a towel in your engine, just buy a MotionPro brand gear jammer. Costs a few bucks and is able to take the load of torquing the bolts just fine.

Yep! a little counterintuitive...but the charger basically pushes ions off of the anode and onto the cathode. the ion imbalance is what gives us the voltage :)

@rulynsantiago16727 ай бұрын
Top plastic if broken how to closed?
@lightningfrog276 ай бұрын
That's a really tough question....it needs to be sealed not only for reliable batter function, but also for safety.... battery acid is pretty dangerous! I've seen videos of people using a tool that looks kinda like a soldering iron along with some extra plastic sticks to kinda "weld" cracked plastic shut, but I'm not sure what materials or temperature they used, or even if it worked well afterwards. If I had a broken battery case, I think I'd recommend just replacing it. Good luck!
@edgarhdz44437 ай бұрын
hello, maybe someone that watches this or even yourself can answer my question… i just got my CBR300R last week from an auction and i want to remove the gas tank but i don’t know if the remaining gas will come out from one of the pipes that need to be removed (can’t take it out from the gas cap because i don’t have the keys)
@lightningfrog276 ай бұрын
To get gas out from a locked gas tank, you'll probably need to put 12 volts power into the fuel pump - it will push fuel from the tank to the fuel line. If you've got the tank off of the bike, just put a fuel rated plastic tube or fuel line from the fuel pump into a gas can or a bucket, and then give power to the fuel pump. Pretty sure the 5 pin connector leading to the fuel pump has a black and a red...you'd need to put +12 v on the red, and ground on the black on the corresponding pins that are on the fuel pump itself. good luck, and let us know how it works out!
@edgarhdz44436 ай бұрын
@@lightningfrog27 thank you for answering!! turns out the fuel pump was dead and i changed it, when i disconnected everything it didn’t spill any gas (which was my concern) so i just disassembled all the fuel pump and let the gas drain through that whole:) thank you for the help and awesome videos👍🏼👍🏼

does not help much as every dry battery i look at had a bottle of acid not one of those fill packs
@lightningfrog276 ай бұрын
yeah, the fill pack was new to me when i was making this video, but BOY was it easier. When it comes with a jug of acid, you just have to be careful to add the specified amount to each cell. I've found that a pipette (looks like a tiny turkey baster) works great for dialing in the exact amount, since it's really difficult to be accurate with just a funnel. Good luck!

What if i cant shift it to neutral when trying to line up the m and ex my bike was stolen and got it back from the police with it stuck in first.
@lightningfrog276 ай бұрын
not sure, but i kinda assume that some piece of the shifter linkage maybe got bent. i dont think the clutch or transmission would get damaged too easily, but if the thief was an incompetent rider, maybe he stomped on the gear shifter, or maybe dropped it on the side and the ground or a curb hit the gear shift?? Sorry that happened bro. Good luck getting everything all fixed up again!

Great video, helped me get through this project. I ended up needing a friend to help me torque the rear sprocket hardware (new bolts and nuts ordered from partzilla for like $20) to prevent stripping it. Definitely needed an impact on the original nut alone with standing on the hub and using a foot to keep the allen/hex from moving (even jammed the old sprocket teeth against a metal cabinet + used an extractor socket since the last nut stripped). Only thing I noticed is that the up/down arrow on the rear swingarm next to the axle bolt is supposed to be to the left of the axle nut and align with the green area above around the 5:20 mark in the video. Adjusted the chain for 1" play and it's been running great now, used to skip teeth/hesitate/jerk on low rpm pulls. Thanks again for making this!!
