Standard control scheme, notice the 2 new buttons beside the L and R buttons. Those are combo buttons from the emulator which are tied to both left and right weapons (square and d-pad down)

Yeah, it's a pretty easy mission. I even use it to farm credits. The quad pulv is basically cornered due to the objects around the base. Unlike the desert version, it's pretty open.

The magazine parts exist as an extension part for rifles and laser versions, which is less usable. I too think ammo pickups may be added and probably similar to DxM or, like in earlier gen 3 AC, a supply vehicle is there for certain missions. If not, then it's time to one-shot weaker MTs to manage ammo

Ppsspp gold actually fairs better than the normal version with the solar lag and fps (very noticable taxing graphics games like assassins creed bloodlines) tbh and I have seen somebody already made a cheat code for it specifically to lessen the effects you can check it in the internet with the root words "armored core solar lag" probably

There is a "hang workaround" cheat but they've built it into the latest PPSSPP versions so you don't need the cheat anymore

Yes, the open space and actively evades missles (especially large ones) make it harder than the base pulv

you can kinda bait the desert pulvie AI to chase you in circles and very rarely evade if you got a fast enough AC

Nah, it's pretty fun on par on an actual psp, I'm not bounded by the controls, and the emulator gives an option to add custom buttons, which makes the game a little bit easier. But repeating the mission (especially the first part) just to see which AC build work is not.

I added 2 custom buttons for left and right weapons so that dual wielding will be easier. Other than that, all default controls.

@@gordilocks huh, I mapped camera to the dpad and both weapons to their respective shoulder buttons. I think I made some changes to the face buttons but I dont remember the changes. Only added custom buttons for LR Portable for both weapons since I can only manage a max of 3 inputs without the touchscreen bugging out. Otherwise I'd make use of my middle finger along with my index to fire both weapons. Changed locations so both Shoulder buttons were on the left side. Dpad was on the right side and face buttons under it so I only used my thumbs and index fingers. Honestly cant imagine playing with a mostly default setup though lol.

I'm using default controls because that's where I'm most comfortable at even in an actual psp. Strafing with these controls is really easy and I don't actively use the up and down look action because it would complicate things, but I use it often if I'm using tank ACs.

You can bluetooth a controller to your phone.

Wide touchscreen and more than two fingers really work wonders.

It's on an emulator bro, plus the custom buttons help a lot.
