C'est tes mâchoires de freins qui font la vrai différence. Call toi des freins 4 pistons...job done! On en parle plus :) Depuis que j'ai gouté à cela il n'y plus de retour en arrière possible. J'ai testé Magura Mt30 et Shimano, les leviers de Shimano sont mieux, mais la maintenance sur Magura est vraiment plus le fun car les plaquettes sont maintenue, magnétiquement. Dans les deux cas, la puissance de freinage est incomparable avec mes Shimano deux pistons.

Effectivement tu a raison en tout point, je vois quand meme un bonne différence juste en grossissant les freins, parce quand arrive le disque surchauffait ;), mes tu a raison je vais sûrement aussi changer les calipers ;)

I hate to point this out...but, you have your underdrive gears where your overdrive gears should be. They need to be switched!

I like the look of the Traxx for sure. Do you have the wheels/tires setup for it as well? Have you done any mods to it yet, other than the front bumper light? What's your thoughts between the single speed and two speed crawlers? Is this your only crawler? Thanks for the video and your time.

Thank you for your comment, for this crawler i don’t have wheel, because i have 2 other crawler ( trx4 sport and trx4 bronco 79 ) my traxx is stock for the moment, i have a projet for that, i want made a snow plow with servo for the next winter ;) , i love the single speed for traxx but it’s more realistic with 2 speed for summer in my opinion

Great video Joel! I have had this vehicle in and out of my cart many times over the past couple of years. What is stopping me is what I have read about slipping tracks on the unit itself, not ground, grips not being good, (but I have noticed Traxxas has changed the traxx to deeper tread and seeing your video and other's shows it no longer slips) and I have also heard people burning the motors and 1 or 2 burned the esc easily, as it is not strong enough?? One video stated it was because the pinion gear was not changed for snow, as stated in the Traxxas manual. Which model do you have as I believe there may have been different model versions as this is not new. Also which batteries do you run? Traxxas was just offering a free winch Christmas time and also includes the 4 wheels. I would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks and keep up the great Traxx TRX-4 videos !!

Hi! Thanks for your comment. The model I have is the TRX-4 Sport with 1 speed transmission, with a 11T pinion and 45T spur. I also have changed the motor for a Hobbywing Fusion 2in1 2300kv, a brushless motor. The oem motor is very limit for the big ride. I also use Traxxas batteries, 3S 5000mah, the deep snow traxx is the best but i recommend to go out below -5 degrees, otherwise the snow sticks on the traxx can slip. Bonjour Joël Je magasine justement pour ce vélo. Je me pose la question si je vais manquer de force avec 750 W comme moteur. Je pèse quand même 240 lbs. D’après ton expérience est ce qui va être correct ce vélo?

Bonjour, je crois pas que vous allez manque de puissance, moi même je pése 220ilb le moteur 750w a quand meme un peak a 1200w en plus le model 2023-2024 on plus de N.m de couple que le mien vous allez vraiment aimer se velo avec sa grande autonomie et l amélioration des frein pour le 2024 il va être parfait. Gêne toi pas si vous avez d autres questions

Bonjour Joel, merci de votre video. Questions: si je comprends bien, en installant un plateau plus petit ça donne un peu l'impression d'avoir un moteur mid-drive à basse vitesse? Par contre, ce que j'essaie d'éviter c'est le "ghost pedaling" (pédaler dans le beurre) à haute vitesse. Donc, c'est mieux de changer la cassette ou le plateau? J'aime bien vos poignées de la marque Brooks, vous les avez acheté à quel endroit? Merci de vos réponses!

Bonjour, j aimais mieu changer le plateau cela plus simple a faire que de changer la cassette du a la limitation du dérailleur, pour le pédalage j aime bien pédaler au environ 80rmp, cela nous rend plus fort dans on monte des grosses pente ou que la puissance moteur est limité, meme a 40km on est au environ 80 a 90 rmp.
