What we didn't, and still don't realize is that we were also Jihadis. They cry "God is Great". We cried "Freedom". They should be shouting "Keep medieval despotic Men in power! " and we should have cried "Feed our futures to our Billionaires!". Until War and Faith are both non-profit, and must be fought by the oldest men first, our babies will die.

This is why ROE has a tendency to backfire when higher ups are never in the field for any duration with their men. It should be determined at a more local level than just the brass who doesn't see the actual situation but a map on a table saying jack shit.

I feel like a lot of people here are not taking time to actually empathize with the civilians. Like imagine the US military was stationed in your city and countryside (for whatever reason maybe there's like a civil starting or something, just imagine it) and it's fine to drive around but also sometimes it's not and you don't know when that is. So randomly in the middle of the night you are getting a shot at and you're full of adrenaline and not entirely sure where the bullets were coming from because again, panic, and now you're not sure if you're just in the middle of a battle or something. This is all assuming that you have perfectly fine hearing, and they are using tracer rounds like in here, because it is legal to drive deaf and hard of hearing. Am I saying that these soldiers are monsters, no I'm not trying to make a value of judgment of them, they even seem to be worried that the person didn't understand the warning shots. I'm just telling y'all to have some empathy for your fellow man.

I imagine being deaf in this country would be extremely dangerous, at least at this time lol Better sure you are extremely awake and hope all of them have tracers like this. Which is legal I'm not sure if it's legal and all countries but it is legal to drive deaf, even commercially in the US. But again not sure how the laws are in other countries

Yeah for us.. But in Iraq they delt with this everyday. Like 1 quarter of the population was military before we invaded and they were everywhere! Saddam had check points everywhere and these people didn't have western TV or internet so they figured these checkpoints were the same as the old Iraqi military ones...
