Nah, my ending statement remains essentially the same. Plus reading an entire visual novel can get... draining. There are other streamers who do it better, and I do genuinely think people should play this game themselves if they're interested.

Oh for sure, I'm not sure if it came across in the stream but while I point out it's age I'm fond of the uber retro stuff. Like I'm pointing out it's lacking QoL features affectionately! Cause when you're treading new ground that sort of stuff just isn't there yet.

Issue is there's not a ton to zoom in on. The game wasn't really designed for such a high resolution that's very much a modern problem. Even if I had the game filling the whole window, or zoomed in, the character would either remain tiny, or just look godawful and not really give a good idea of the surroundings. I'm gonna try upping the resolution on UO streams, since it's very resource light so I can dedicate more to the stream. But yeah I just don't see it being beneficial to go any bigger.

@@Faris_V5 Hi, you misunderstand me, your violet UI is nice but it sux how there are gaps between the game and your stream data panels, you may find it ok while you play, but as a visual for a person watching it is uninteresting.. There are options to change the zoom and the ui but now im not sure if you know they exist or if you want a good tv channel of your own.

Oh! I know exactly what you mean then. That is more due to the nature of the UO game window. If you look at my other videos you see that's not an issue, it goes effectively right up to the panel outline. As I mentioned I'm still gonna fiddle around a little with the actual layout itself. And I might even try the fullscreen game mode and see how that looks with the inventory and stat windows over the top of the game itself. I'm just saying that as far as game size goes UO itself is relatively unique. And I don't know if I can say any one layout for a stream is best. For what it's worth, you have made me go take a look at options and I found out you can bump the size of the inventory windows. So that'll help out on the playing and viewing side both. UO has an absolute overload of options so if I'm being honest, err on the side of "I don't know it exists" over any active decision making.

When I was getting into Dangan recently I took it to mean they were tired of the killing game. Not necessarily the mystery or deduction stuff. Which is fair enough there's so much more that can be done if you're not locked into that structure.

@Faris_V5 personally, I feel they pigeon holed themselves into the killing game setting, even ace attorney tried running a new protagonist and gimmick with apollo, and even though they backpedalled to phoenix, they tried, and kept the new gimmick and characters and launched proper spin offs with Edgeworth and Ryunosuke. Not a one to one comparison, i know, but they treat ditching the killing game as if it would be like ditching phoenix wright. I don't think people care about the killing game as much as they think they do, as long as whacky high-school kids die mysteriously, they would have been fine in a new setting.

Yeah, partly for the mentioned reasons. Partly because as a VN the stream just kind of stretches out with only so much to talk about. For example lots of moments during this stream are just me listening to the characters talking. It's not a bad thing but it's also not what I enjoy about streaming, y'know? So even if you're allowed to go to Chapter 1, I figure this is a good standalone stream.

@@Faris_V5 Fair Enough, but I heard your CAN stream until chapter 4. Spike did a similar thing with V3. For V3 it was so the Kaede being a killer twist wasn’t spoiled. I dunno what happens in chapter 4 but it must be big. Oh but take this with a grain of salt, this is just something I heard it’s not confirmed.

It's tons of fun, definite recommend if you like Danganronpa or even just like the idea of anime detective stuff.

@@Faris_V5 mhm played the first danganronpa and enjoyed it.. definitely picking this up, however I didn't expect the culprit to be a mystery phantom, let alone have a second form/phase to them, the Devs certainly didn't mention that in the interviews since all they mentioned was the amaterasu corporation phantoms

I'm sure that was intentional. To surprise the player. Mystery is a big theme which is why I'm giving them a pass on the "please don't stream" thing. But y'know I figure a chapter 0 is valuable for people to know if they're interested or not.

I'll turn it up a bit next time. It's unfortunately one of those things that I can only balance once someone tells me on stream.

Best RPG eh? That's a spicy claim. I look forward to seeing how accurate it is :3 Not that I doubt it's quality, I already love the first too. "Best RPG" just has some extremely powerful competition. Both retro and modern.
