We got back a few days ago it was siteniy different from the last few times we have been to the hotel with a hurricane in the last week of the holiday but the safe worked very hard to make us all safe in the hotel and afterwards made sure we were feed and Wartered

Never go in the pools of swim-up bars! People hanging out there for hours and hours, but mysteriously never leaving for the bathroom...... 🤔 Yuck! 😨

Although it can used some repairs here and there this is a solid Family resort. 8/10 was just here last week. An im not saying if you come as a couple or friends trip you wouldn’t have fun but you going to see alot of kids running, jumping ect ect. They have a water park with a snack bar and drinks. Huge interconnected pool and multiple snacking and restaurants areas.

@@Unknown-gk6qh no just a water park with 7-8 slides and 2 kids pool and a regular pool. Inside the resort there is a huge pool half of it is 7 feet deep

the pools were weird too because for some reason they blocked off the pools where you had to get out to get to the next one

we stayed there last year and it was terrible I would never go back there and as far as the buffets go besides the breakfast buffet it was a horrible selection !

Terrible, so large you can't go anywhere without a shuttle ride. Waited 15 mins for ride than told I'm not going that way. I guess you're expected to walk the 1/2-1 mile. I want a resort where I can walk to restaurants/pool and not wait for a shuttle. Than find out they are going somewhere else or it's full. and you can either wait longer or walk. Staff is not very friendly at all. Worse all inclusive resort I've been to. Don't waste your money. There are many more nicer resorts to go.

@@zadiebroussard2153 I have been to Moon Palace 2 times. Once at The Grand, and once at Sunrise. I enjoyed both. You will definitely shuttle around if you stay at The Grand. Everything is in closer proximity at the Sunrise. But I will also include that I don’t mind a little bit of walking. When I stayed at Sunrise, I would walk from Sunrise pool to Nizuc pool, maybe 10 min. My suggestion is Sunrise with a large group and The Grand with my wife and kids.

Beautiful resort! Staff are super friendly and go out of their way to assist. We've been visiting MP since 2019. Married there in 2020 and started bringing our friends and family along every year since then.

Never go back, beaches had seaweeds could not use. Rooms are smell bad, staffs were not friendly

Use the shuttle and visit The Beach Palace with no seaweed. Shuttle service included with stay. That’s just how the places smell out there. They’re sewer system is not as good. It’s tolerable, I’ve been here twice. Never had a problem with staff…. I was very happy for what I paid.

Seaweed is an act of God, not the hotel. We usually research the times of year where the sargassum is bad. If you travel during sargassum season, expect sargassum. Simple as that

No but you can upgrade to for the elegance club which puts you into an adult only section of rooms and gives access to the adult only pool and French restaurant
