About alien ware computers. id say they are tied with razer when it comes to TOP OF THE LINE LAP TOPS. as in a few thousand dollars. but they are quality and id argue worth it if thats your thing (as in you fully replace your desktop with it). i personally got one because i travel for work alot and just fully committed to a lap top, no PC tower for me. but you bet your ass i paid for it. Razer is a good competitor for them. high quality but very pricy top of the line laptops. Again, if you are going to FULLY REPLACE YOUR DECKTOP, then i would recommend looking for which of the two have a better sale at the moment. expect a little over 3 grand tho!!! (for the good good specs). HOWEVER their prebuild towers are grossly over priced, likewise same for razer lol. If you cant build your own find a buddy you trust. that can save you thousands! or just watch a youtube video, just dive in the deep end. its actually really fun and cool to admire after you finish! and probably way easier than you expect, seriously its like 7-9 parts and they all come with instructions on how to wire them up. (just make sure your parts are compatable with each other, this is the scariest part as a noobie i think) and there are some smart nerds on youtube who will explain and show you step by step how its done. TL;DR Alienware makes great high-end (with a price to match) laptops, and razer is their best competition currently in my opinion. Stay away from their desktop towers tho, too expensive for what you get
