The Crane refused to grab the trailer, that's why had to do the long, convoluted and rather ridiculous retrieval method.

I think I've seen some lightning, but I could be wrong, or confused with different game.. I have seen the Northern Lights on several occasions too.

I do remember if you start getting near the boundaries, the weather starts getting nasty and lightning will appear.

@@TanDawg58 Oh, ok..I tried it and yes out of the boundaries..why didn't they put that in the main game?? seems silly.

Yeah, I tired that. It makes Heat 5 crash. It happened twice, plus you can't use custom cars. The default is a Ford number 99, and there is no way to change it.

They can be spotty. I nailed them one time, went back to the same place and skunked all 90 pots. Deeper seems to be better though

They are undersized. You get financial penalties for small scallops. Same for small crab and lobster

At 12:19, that's a nice big one, the next one I pick is too small. They are always either nice big ones or small ones, so you just have to eyeball them

You might be in an area where the Tuna school isn't as good, you can be in a solid school one second and start getting out of them the next. Or it could be you're not soaking the gear long enough. I usually go for a 19-20 hour soak.

It's pretty fun. I do wish that there were a few other fisheries as well as some other features, but overall it is done pretty well

I didn't even think about them leveling up. My thoughts were, if they're on the boat and aren't fishing, they'd better be doing something to earn their money.

It could also be that the game is just too big for whatever you're playing on, no matter what setting you have the game on.

​@@rockerbuck967 I disabled most of the mods I had going (maybe not when this was uploaded but eventually I did). I have come to the conclusion that an older computer is to blame for most of the issues.

I have the high end radar and sonar, but I just like to use the 100m setting when dumping gear

Lobster or snow crab fishing is the best way I have found to make money in this game currently. I usally head out for a couple days and atleast set 1 or 2 strings (full offload) and always come back with millions. Obviously the best boat for this is the Atlantic catcher with a 30mil price tag but the arctic pioneer is real good for lobster just a log process compared to snow crab fishing...

If I just have the crew do it, it doesn't seem as interesting for people

I've done some before, but it didn't seem to really add much. I have been thinking of doing it again though. Thank you for watching and the suggestion.

Set as many trucks up for it as possible, then drive one while towing another, but be careful not to tip them over. Only long logs need the special setup. Medium logs just fit on a tow behind trailer. These are long tedious missions though.

@@TanDawg58 At least I figured that you can attach a trailer, and then also pull a second trailer using the winch.

I said the exact same thing. For some reason this game bugged out and not only pinned me under there, but placed me in one of the most shallow areas, with a big boat that was riding low because the tanks were full.
