Fantastic! The most efficient form of recycling. These engines last forever so why not remanufacture them. This is great for the folks that have older engines and boats that are happy with their product but don't want to spend the money for a new boat or repower with a new engine that may not make the repower economically feasible.

I sailed on several cargo vessels around the world. If there was a Volvo genset on board, you knew that your sleeping time was limited till the next alarm. Damaged injectors, turbocharger, coolingwater issues were standard. IMO 8811950 had the worst Volvo's in the 90's that even the Volvo mechanics created headaches.

I am very interested in a pair of 2000HP models to install in the new Fleming 85. I think the weight and the size of these models will be smaller and more powerful than what is already specked to be in the new Fleming 85. I intend to follow these developments.

NEVER BUY d16 engine Volvo trucks. D16 is BAD. Transmission leaks all time, the parts are bad, I bought a new truck with d16 and always had problems- NEVER BUY D16 engines. BUY d13 engines.

I find system herky jerky when attempting to move slowly. A small movement of the joystick moves the riviera faster than i am comfortable in tight situations. I like maneuvering with the joy stick, but not in dock assist mode.
