I’m on Ozempic because of being a diabetic . Been doing low carb for-most of my adult life. even with going keto or even carnivore, I still struggle with my diabetes. One of the biggest things about going on a GPL 1 nowadays is that as a diabetic it’s hard to get your medicine. Because of all the hype surrounding it. I’ve never had side effects from using a GPL. I never lost weight from it either. It’s takin me a long time to get from 300 lbs to 156. (not from Ozempic ) My weight and the voices in my head are both in a good place now!😁 Don’t ever give up !!!!

Humans have no business using food like a drug. That's basically what you're describing when you talk about not getting the same joy out of food. It's not a drug, it's a fuel. I wish people would make the connection between drug addict thinking and how you feel about food. It's the same.

Those of us who have had good men as fathers are truly blessed! My sweet dad would have turned 99 years old today, born 7-30-1925! He’s been gone 9 years and I feel very blessed to have had him that long, though I miss him immeasurably! I was definitely Daddy’s girl and he was my rock. There is no one left in my life who I truly matter much to, but I believe we will meet again! 🥰 Grief is simply love sent, with nowhere to land. P.S. Came back to add that …Yeah, I’d love to see y’all house hunting! It’s very interesting to see what houses, land, etc. looks like and is selling for in different places. Good luck in your hunt and thank God AND your sister, that you didn’t move into a construction nightmare! Besides noise, it’s not nice to see what tearing up the natural habitat of wildlife causes. And don’t forget the endless dust created by such endeavors. 😊

I just want to say that I really enjoy watching you girls you make me laugh and I love all the suggestions that you make. I always say, “I’m Keto lite” I can’t do true keto because I had my gallbladder removed so I can’t tolerate to much fat, I can’t eat much protein because I have one kidney with stage three kidney disease. I love your suggestions for work arounds. Keep doing what you do and we will keep watching and enjoying. Have a blessed day.💜

I embraced the Keto lifestyle some time ago. I really don't follow influencers. I prefer to follow real and true people. That is one of the reasons I started following your channels. You are so real, natural. Your videos are filled with info, fun, etc. I wouldn't care for you having no long lashes. Jajaja. I trust you, and I hope you always make those wonderful Keto videos. Keto is not just a diet. It's a Lifestyle. Thanks for being there. Here. KUDOS!

I really enjoy listening to you both. I've been following you both forever. Liked when you would go thrifting. I got a kick out of that. I moved to the mountains from the city 6 years ago & love the peace & quiet & privacy so I get your wishes. I'm so proud of how far you have come & please don't stop.

I went on Keto at the advise of my doctor due to being prediabetic, and I was kind of intimidated by the idea of not eating most of the things I used to. Your videos really helped, not only for the recipes, but for the really genuine vibe you guys put out. It made me feel like I could really succeed. Thank you guys for being so genuine. ❤

Twins have compassion for yourselves ❤ I gained 56 lbs over 18 mnths in that time first my brother then my mother and on 23rd December my son passed away. The loss of and sadness takes time. I eat carbs when sad. I'm having compassion for myself and with that said I'm now eating low carb most days. I'm sorry for your loss girls ❤

You have my sympathy re: your father. This December it'll. be the 35th anniversary of my father's death. He's been gone longer than he was in my life, yet his influence is still there after all these years. As for questions, I've got a few: . You're identical twins, but which one of you was born first (unless conjoined, one twin always pops out first)? . How many siblings do you have? Are they older or younger? . What made you decide to go Keto vs something like calorie counting? . Do you have any food allergies or sensitivities? . Do your husbands eat Keto? . Do you have additional jobs besides content creating?

Bless you and your family, it is not easy but there is a peace in knowing they aren't suffering. In approximately 5 years, I survived cancer, took care of my mom until she died, my husband died unexpectedly, my dad passed away last September and have lost 3 pets in 4 months. Love every moment that you have and cherish it. I am blessed to still have 2 wonderful children, my in-laws, and my friends who have been a great support. I also watched a lot of your videos which brought a smile to my face and experimentation in the kitchen. Thank you because although you are dealing with your grief your videos helped to ease mine a little.

I really enjoy watching both of you and all of your content is fantastic. But I would like to hear more about how you deal with not having a cocktail with alcohol while doing keto. I’m not a fan of mock tails or the LMNT drink. Any other suggestions?
@technicallyketo
@technicallyketo 26 күн бұрын
We drink alcohol a couple times a month, we stick to vodka and we even put LMNT in it (vodka, seltzer, LMNT) or just seltzer vodka lime. If you are in ketosis and drink alcohol (that doesn’t have carbs) your body will convert that first and then go back to ketones after a couple hours. Be warned though that your tolerance goes way down if you are in ketosis or lose weight

I think you both look incredible. I also think that you both look wonderful in spite of everything. I have watched many of your posts. I don’t think that you look like you gained weight. But if you say that you have then I would say that given all you've been through that 15 lbs isn't much at all. I am sorry about your loss. I agree with one of the commenters: grief doesn't go away. It just changes. He must have been a great dad because he has such great daughters.

I’m so glad you shared this. My husband oh 69 years passed December 2, 2023, and like your dad he did not want to be fussed over and wanted to continue to making me happy. You ladies have such strength I don’t know how you could talk about your daddy and not break down. Listening to you giving me some peace, even if it is fleeting. No matter how much weight you gain back it doesn’t matter to anyone. You ladies are special thank you again for all the tryouts and laughs. You have given me.

When I was keto and lost a lot of weight, my mom passed, then 2 months later my dad passed away, then a few months after that my dog died. Then my fiancé went through something severe and almost lost his life. I have gained 60 lbs since this happened 2 years ago. Now I am ready to get back on track, keto was my life saver and it will be my life saver again.
