I've seen the film (I haven't read the books, but I've seen ALL the other Hunger Games films)... Maybe because I'm "older" than the person who wrote the comments (I've read most of them) for me Snow's "evil" begins AFTER having had the misfortune of meeting Lucy Gray with whom he fell in love (in spite of himself and did everything to save her life in the Hunger Games with the "thanks" of a snake bite. Coriolanus has shot but in an unspecified point, I don't think it hit her there were no traces of blood, whether she died or not doesn't matter. It was SHE who destroyed his life and made what WAS a good boy become in the Snow that you see in the Hunger games after... I hated it but now that I've been able to see the prequel I can understand how much pain Lucy Gray gave him, and I understood why she said that "it's the things we love most that destroy us" Lucy destroyed him and changed him forever. He tried to save her in every way possible and Severiou too....Lucy was the real snake🐍, maybe a nightingale when she sang but a rattlesnake in her heart!!!
