I think there is a big misunderstanding concerning the grammar within the subtitles of this video. I believe Mari Emmanuel is saying that HERETICS dared to confess/proclaim that Mary is not the Mother of God. The subtitles say "it was not good who was born of Mary as the heretics dared to confes" But if we're applying grammar, it would be: " “It was not God who was born of Mary,” as the heretics dared to confess." However, I cannot confirm this, I do not speak the language being sung here. I'm not as educated in Orthodoxy, but in that sector, Mary is often called the Theotokos, which in Greek is "God-Bearer." If Mari Emmanuel is Orthodox, then he should belive that the Lord was born of Mary. If he doesnt believe this, then I'd really appreciate if somebody would provide some concrete evidence for this conclusion, if any.

I remember my very first time visiting a Orthodox Church. Believe it or not, my very first day attending a church that was Orthodox just happened to be Easter on the Julian calendar and I can say I had a very wonderful time. I literally cried due to how beautiful the scene was. I literally could n't imagine it any more beautiful. The Orthodox are beautiful and incredible. God bless the Orthodox and God bless. Grace
