Great little review. It might be worth considering looking at a laptop with a USB-C charger instead of an AC/DC converter like you have. It's surprising how long you can get on the compact style laptop with a 100w USB-C compatible port. I get about 6-7 hours of regular use, and can top up with a high capacity 100w powerbank, so I'd imagine the Bluetti would run it for far longer. All the major brands have laptops that run off USB-C nowadays and you wouldn't waste power converting DC-AC-DC with the laptop power adapter.

Enjoy the winter months their . ❤. Its been way to warm here mate 🇺🇸 Pennsylvania been low 90°F . Garden been hit or miss. I just had surgery for another hernia think this coming hunting season im slowling it back down to black powder vs archery with crossbow and use older rifle as always in winter. Hard beat the old stand bys. 35cal hard to beat work horse for big game especially their. 338 win mag my dad love for years to he got his 45-70. My self use love the 7mm mag here to move to 243win and 30-06 and 35rem . The newer caliber are cool but just more expensive options.

Hey mate. Love your vids. I’ve got Solomon’s also. Like you said. I love mine I don’t wear them as much as you do. But like you said. I can’t justify purchasing boots that are $600 bucks. Love ya work mate 👌
@barryw5911Ай бұрын
I found the Elements were wider than the Quest 4 and my feet seemed to "rattle" around in them, so I bought X Ultra Mid GTX, they have been ok but a bit short and let shit in. So might try on another pair of Elements. How did you find the fit difference between the Quest and the Elements?
@HillDogTVАй бұрын
Barry , mine are both the Same Size! i find the Quest 4s can be firmer around the top of foot with the lacing system, plus stiffer sole, does feel more snug Whereas the Element is more "comfy" as top an side of foot is slightly more relaxed with traditional lacing. ive got a thicker inner sole in my Q4s though which may aid in the Snugness- HTH
@barryw5911Ай бұрын
Thanks, might pick up a pair.

Salomons are fantastic. I run the Outback's and absolutely love mine. Only thing is they are a tad noisy
@ethanbennettfilmsАй бұрын
Hey mate, I wore the exact same boots. They were amazing in Australia and I wore them everywhere for 18 months, then did a NZ trip. The dozens of rivers crossings and time on the skree totally destroyed them. For 200 dollars though it's easy enough to replace them every two years, because the comfort and light weight is hard to beat.
@bradleytyrrell4417Ай бұрын
I have the same boot and they are comfortable and have lasted great 👍 and probably buy another set when they wear out probably in the next 12 months i reckon
@jh8111Ай бұрын
I’ve owned a pair of Salomon’s, good boots mine started to come apart, at the stitching after a year or two. I have a pair Lowa rangers now, best boots ive ever worn, they run rings around anything of wore in my 8 years in the army. If you can get past the price tag which I’ll admit is pretty hefty, I think they’re worth it.
@Archfile375Ай бұрын
Thanks for the review, I found the salomon fitment and sizing strange and had to go up 2 whole sizes, but the boot itself I'm more than happy with
@seankelleher2352Ай бұрын
Great to see a review on these from a hunting perspective. I trek a bunch of kilometres in my boots and shoes, and wear them out very very quickly. I've actually found the Salomon to be really long-lasting and comfortable. Granted the sole is a bit hard and can be a bit noisier, but I can't fault their performance and longevity. My better half always complains that I go through shoes and boots so quickly, but I've found the Salomons to be worth the investment.

@HillDogTVАй бұрын
oh honestly, 33-06 is a nice sweet spot but but, all are great, all can run 200grainers... some a little better than others, bush stalking? general stalking? as none are long pokers really.. flashy = 338-06... heavy hitter is the Whelen an all rounder easier on the wallet is a 3006
@kingy300wbyАй бұрын
@@HillDogTV the last time I came to vic hunting I carried my 300wby with 28inchs of pipe hanging off the end of it thinking I was going to find these nice big open hill faces and gullies and would need it! Boy was a wrong 🤣 I would have been better served with a sawn off 12ga and solid slugs, so next time I venture over I’ll be bringing a scrub gun, the 30-06 is an easy choice I reload but ammo is plentiful for the 30, I like the idea of the 338-06 bigger hole in the animal and heavier bullet weight, and the whelen I can also get factory ammo if needed, I guess I’m just wondering if the opportunity ever arrives when there is a big boy standing there is the 30-06 enough gun?
