It's a good set. I'm still dialing in mine between my axe fx and engl savage 120 mk2. I come from playing blackouts, emgs and fishman. This setreally lends itself to lead playing if you are a ripper.

Some cheap DIY sound deadening in that room would be a real game changer. All those large flat reflective surfaces are going to make a mess of your sound. Need to find something to hang up and absorb a bunch of the reflected sound. Even some large moving blankets on the walls would make a huge difference. Try it and see all your high and mid will become much clearer to your ear in that room.

@@REDDRAGON666ful Yeah anything to cut down sound bouncing off that stuff. When the highs and mids hit those huge open flat surfaces they reflect pretty bad. Once you handle that your room is gonna be rockin though. Pretty much perfect setup for jamming out in.

Congrats! I love my JVM205. I live on the OD Orange channel with an SD-1 (Waza) and it's brutal. Like most gearheads, I own a dozen different overdrives and tube screamers but Marshalls love the SD-1. IMO, the red channel is much more usable than the 5150 red (I also live on the blue channel on my 5150 with a boost) but I don't really use it because I'm really happy on the OD Orange. If you want a great noise gate, pick up an ISP Decimator. Nice and quiet without killing your tone, I use it with all my high gain amps.

Awesome man!!! I love this amp, I also use the orange channel with a OD, on my 5150lll Stealth, I also use the blue channel with a OD! The Red channels on both amps are just nasty in stereo!!! I had an SD1, really need to get another one! Super shredders for sure!!!!🤘🎸🤘🔥

Yeah, I hate to admit it, considering how many overdrives I have but the SD-1 is such a great match for a Marshall... so much so that I bought the Waza version, which IMO beefs up the bottom end a bit more than the regular one but even the regular SD-1 is great and a steal compared to most overdrives. It also works great with the blue channel of the 5150 III.

Ive got the M-7 black metal. The black winter rips. I like the Fishman as well but i actually dont like actives too much. I am jealous you have guitars for different bands you play to lol. The black metal guitars work great for any death, black, thrash metal I play and is super comfortable. I wish they made one in 8 string varient, looking at Solar to upgrade my 8 string from an old Schecter Damien. Either that or one of the LTDs.

Definitely worth the extra money! Locking tuners, better pickup, better woods, plus it’s lighter than most of my other guitars! Plays fast and smooth too!
