Hi, I'm planning my first trip to the USA next year. I want to stay in Titusville for 3 days (2 of which for the KSC). Any suggestions on what to see or do in Titusville? Warbird-Musem? Parks, Beaches?

I am a fan of the beaches! Titusville is close to Playlinda Beach which is a pristine section of beach that does not have any development nearby (its like stepping back in time) If you prefer to have restaurants and shops near the beach, head to Cocoa Beach. I like kayaking and there are companies that offer tours of the mangroves on a kayak and you would have an opportunity to see some Florida wildlife. The Warbird museum is pretty cool if you like that kind of thing. Hopefully there will be a launch the 3 days you are here! Cocoa Village is a great place to explore-great restaurants and shops. Brevard Zoo in Melbourne is fantastic zoo too.

Nice informing video of the various launch sighting spots! I will be coming out there later his month. A launch is tentatively scheduled on the date of June 25th. I am hoping to be able to see it while I am there! I just don't know which facility it will be launched from offhand; Cape Canaveral or Kennedy Space Center.

That section of Cocoa has a few different mobile home communities. Depending on the section, you either lease the lot, own the lot, or it is part of a co-op

Brightline recently announced they are putting a stop in Cocoa. Cocoa makes way more sense than Melbourne because of the Space Center, the cruise terminals at Port Canaveral, and Cocoa Beach. These are the top destinations that tourists want to come to Brevard County for.

@@EricLarkin Nothing beats it. And unobstructed view forever. In my estimate, I would have bought front-facing condos at a price of $50K per sqft. Because one is paying for forever unobstructed view. I mean it's really priceless owning the 50M square miles of ocean. It's a cheap price to pay.

Grew up in Brevard. Got my first haircut at the base barber in 1968 I was four. Father was retired military and from 67-74 worked at NASA. I spent a lot of time at the base (back then it was Patrick Air Force Base). Parents did all their shopping at the PX and base commissary in the 60-80s. In the late 80s early 90s I would drive them their due to their age. They still drove I think it was for the company. Got the shot in the arm with the injection gun like all the kids before starting school at the base hospital. A few hundred screaming crying kids all standing in a line for hours. Lived by the beach for a while, surfed next to Kelly Slater many times. Scuba dived out near the Cocoa Beach pier. Used to be called the Canaveral Pier. Ron Jons was a little hut of a shop back then.

Thanks Eric. Would you favor Micco or the Roseland section of Sebastian? Curious since they are two different counties, with different taxes, school districts, police, fire and governing bodies. I’ve tried to find good info on Brevard Vs Indian river county - and…. There’s not much.

Thank you for finding the video and for the comment! I am not familiar with the Indian River County side of things, so I would be favoring the Brevard County side. I would recommend boots on the ground recon. Drive through both sides of the river and see what you like and don't like.

It's $5 an hour to park at the beach access points in Cocoa Beach. There are a few parks where it's free parking (Lori Wilson Park & Robert Murshke Park) Cape Canaveral is free parking in designated spots. Patrick Space Force Base beaches are free parking too
