#stayedgone is *EASILY* one of my favorite #ost’s from #hazbinhotel! It did really well *”showcasing”* or *”capturing the essence”* of the whole *”tv killed the radio star”* rivalry between #Alastor & #Vox. Almost ALL of the songs/musical numbers do a great job following along & leading the shows plot, but I must say that #stayedgone is *”DEFINITELY”* one of the more cleverly written *”showtunes”* in the fact that we start with #Vox having the upper-hand & firing shots left & right at #Alastor, about 3/4th’s of the way in, #Alastor doesn’t *”just”* fire back at #Vox to finish the musical number. Instead, he *COMPLETELY* *”flips the script on **#Vox**.”* Instead of ending similarly parallel to where we started with #Vox saying that #Alastor *”should’ve stayed gone,”* we end up with #Alastor *”popping off*” with that *reverse psychology* stating that he’s going to *”MAKE **#Vox** wish that he had stayed gone.”* PS --#Alastor came in with the #rizz SO clean at timestamp 2:02 with the line *”..and here’s the sugar on the cream, he asked me to join his time, but I said no & now he’s pissy. -THAT’S the tea.”*

The clever part about Respectless is that it tells a story between Zestiel and Velvette rather than between Carmilla and Velvette. Velvette came there with the goal of goading Zestiel into reacting without thinking and then Carmilla buts in when she taunts him, you can see this in her surprised face seems to say, "What's that bitch doing?" This is further evidenced when she tries to taunt Zestiel again and he responds with, "We need more intelligence," she looks frustrated and goes pestering Carmilla instead since she knows that Carmilla is tauntable. The "We need more intelligence" is a brilliant reply that leaves her unable to respond since if she agreed she would show her ignorance and if she disagreed she would deny her own purpose since when she sings, "I'm the backbone of the Vs," her scene surrounding her are all notifications rather than anything she's put out. Some of it it is just inane chatter and the rest contains intelligence that can be used under the correct circumstances. I think the reason Zesiel looks so surprised when she comes at him a third time as she does it despite breaking off earlier, which neither Vox or Valentino would have done since Vox is too insecure about taking an L,, and Valentino is too arrogant to think that he could ever take an L. She has been in his face before and this time it's a statement rather than a provocation. Then when she throws the angel's head to Carmilla he looks at her to gauge her reaction, he never looks at the head of Velvette as the rest seems to do. This is further evidenced in the next scene with Zestiel and Carmilla he goes straight to saying that she was too easily goaded rather than asking her if it was true since he already decided that she had something to do with it. Ironically I think the only one in the room, including Vox and Valentino, that the only one who can respect her is Zestiel for the potential she has, she's just unexperienced in his eyes. If he became Velvette's mentor she could turn into a real powerhouse.
