Lawd, I'd love to buy one of the "bank teller" stations. Wouldn't it be beautiful against a white wall for decor.

For me as a kid it was the corner store up the hill a block, or, if we were swimming at my grandparents pool, our grandpa would take up about a mile to his favorite little corner store Juniors, for an ice pop or penny candy. Now just about all those kind of places are gone. Replaced by chain convenience stores. Anyway, Thanks Tim and Tammy, you're the best.

17:49 that is old New Harmony Missionary Baptist & the old cemetery is across the street. New New Harmony Missonary Baptist Church moved over AL50 15-20 miles away. They still own the cemetery, but the church building is privately owned by a local family. The property around the building was sold off. I doubt they’ll ever do anything with it, but they didn’t want to let go of the memories that come with owning it. If I remember the story my old lady neighbor told me correctly, the church moved into the church that housed the church association. When the county widened & paved the road the association churches slowly decided to just consolidate membership back down to 1 church.

I've never (that I remember) gone down those roads before! Do you remember a place out on Hwy 50 called Landrum's Grocery and then it was called Papa's Place? We filmed what was left of it and I don't remember it either. I've been up and down Hwy 50 many times.

It's nice to see so much land untampered with. That probably explains why there was NO traffic. I agree. As sad as it is to see a cemetery that has been long neglected, and in such a decayed state... I bet it is because any present descendants have no awareness of their connection to the cemetery. After all, the graves are 100, *plus years old. That church looks like it has been abandoned for decades. I was just thinking of the journey it must have been to get there. Thank you for this interesting ride along, T&T. It was enjoyable. 🛣 🖼 👏🏻👏🏻

I just watched this episode of These Woods are haunted. 1st time she's with her dad and friend, 2nd her stepdad and her, no mother mentioned and the 3rd her boyfriend. After that, she tells the story of her dad going into the shack with the symbols on the door and the dead pig. And we're told abt devil worship or witches, drawing the entities there.

Yeah, the story I relayed was from the Reddit post not the episode. I was told about this bridge from a viewer who asked us to go find it if we could. She had seen the These Woods are Haunted episode and knew it was somewhere in our area. I did a lot of internet research and found many stories about the bridge beyond what was seen in the episode. Whether you are a believer or not, some very strange and interesting things seem to have happened here. Thanks for watching!
