I remember going to this game October 31st 1995 we had just knocked spartak vladikavkaz in the 1st round. One of the away fans had brought this massive drum that was strapped to his chest and when they scored they went mad. The noise from the drum was deafening and it was a sickener losing to these a real low point in lfc European history, it got worse though I think we bought Paul Ince the following season an ex man utd player captaining lfc says it all about the 90s for us.
