Is Genesis history? Not in the way you are implying, no

Vishnu Schist at the canyon’s base is 1.75 billion years old-confirmed by uranium-lead dating of zircon crystals. The Redwall Limestone above it is 340 million years old, based on fossil correlation and volcanic ash dating. The Colorado River started carving the canyon about 5-6 million years ago, shown by thermochronology. These aren’t just claims-they’re facts from solid science. For further reading, check out *Ancient Landscapes of the Colorado Plateau* by Ron Blakey and Wayne Ranney, or *Grand Canyon Geology* by Stanley S. Beus and Michael Morales.

One major misconception about Noah’s Flood is to think that the idea of Flood only means standing , vertically stacked water, when in fact is should also include horizontally moving water as in tsunamis of massive proportions, thus making it possible to cover the mountains with 20 feet of water; plus add in the possibility that the earth was much flatter before the Flood and ocean floors much more shallower than today.

One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we’ve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We’re no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. It’s simply too painful to acknowledge, even to ourselves, that we’ve been taken. Once you give a charlatan power over you, you almost never get it back. - Carl Sagan

If Genesis is not to be taken literally then Adam's death was not literal as well as not immediate? Then the point of Genesis 2:17 is moot, unnecessarily spoken and therefore meaningless! God forbid we should confound God's word with such confusion and ignorance! Both are correctable, all you need is to get you an education! I would strongly recommend intensive study of grammar and the strengths and structure of sentences in linguistics!

Humanity has not even begun to understand the mysteries of God’s creation. How then can we think that we know Him? We don’t. But He knows us in intimate detail, and chose to bring salvation to us, freely given, if we only believe in His Son and accept His dominion in our lives. It is a simple gift, but even more profound than this creation in which we live. God is truly an awesome God!

The information has only been widely disseminated for about 15-30 years. Keep going. The future generations will not be able to accept deep time, they'll just know better
Wow this is very good 💯 and love how you bring up about the spiritual because yes they would be under the influence of demons but truth always wins and might be a slow process but I do believe there's hope for the evolutionists more times they here the truth that strong hold at some point has to let go of influencing these evolutionists because we all even the evolutionists has free will wich means hearing the truth can change their mind for some of course their could still be others that don't care about the truth

How to take a leap back for science - cut Creator God out then you have a wild ride into your own imaginary world. Millions, billions, trillions of years must be added. It is anyone’s guess.

I just want to point out though that the Hebrew word Meitzar is a tributary. So Mitzra'im would be the Land of two Tributaries (Blue Nile and the White Nile). Meitzar is a constricted place as another definition. Either definition leads to a Land with the Two Tributaries of the Nile River.

The Apostle Paul rightly speaks of these “scientists” “suppressing the truth in unrighteousness” in the first chapter of Romans. It goes on further to say “professing to be wise them became fools” and this all comes about because they prefer to live as they choose rather than how their Creator has dictated so they suppress anything that supports the Scriptural account and back man’s account of how they surmise creation may have came about. “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them.” Romans 1:18-19 (NKJV)

It seems he might have contradicted himself. He said that the coal seems have a very flat bottom and top. Since there are ripples left At the bottom of bodies of water, would that not indicate that there would be ripples left in the coal seam from settling down on said bottom of body of water.

I have seen big wild domestic cats in the wild and they are scary, when I was approximately 6/7 years of age I was swinging on our swing that was built between two large trees and dad looked out the window and seen one coming down the tree in a stalking stance’s, he had already grabbed a rifle and yelled to me to run when I heard a shot, and I did, this cat had many fighting wounds from perhaps dogs n possibly wild puma’s not native to our country that had been seen on n off for years and it was also twice the size of the biggest domestic cats, truly frightening to see, I have heard of similar stories from people living in remote forests, so the wild behaviour can return to even domestic cats born in the wild or dumped young. 👍

That by the word of God the heavens and Earth are of OLD. WHAT PART IS TOO DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND. IN THE BEGINNING God created the heavens and the earth and he created the EARTH to be INHABITANTED. ok we need rivers of drinkable fresh water year round so we need seasons, we need snow on mountains. Thru the Winter and continue to melt to make rivers flow... Year round.. ye Seek a sign snd none will be given. Seek ye First the kingdom of God and his Righteousness...

Creationists should consider if the Colorado Plateau was uplifted at about the same time as mountains were uplifted after the Flood. The metasedimentary Vishnu Schist and the granite dikes in the basement rocks suggest that worldwide metamorphism happened during this catastrophic uplift. The granite dikes were likely injected as magma into the Vishnu Schist during metamorphism. The magma slowly cooled to form the granite. The rapid evaporation of water in groundwater, lakes, rivers, and oceans would have catastrophically flooded the earth from ongoing rainfall. These floodwaters would have all been flowing downhill in very hot geological features and would have easily eroded river channels and valleys. Such an event would have caused mass extinctions of plants and animals around the world. Geological extension of the earth’s crust at this time would have formed large igneous provinces around the world that some associate with mass extinctions. This may have been triggered by worldwide asteroid impacts that some also associate with mass extinctions. Some say most of the fossilized plants and animals are extinct.

So, a straw-man. It doesn’t prove your point, it only proves that we have more about fossilization to learn.
