0 effort ad just for the recently opened Time Out market, 2 out of 6 spots you recommend to "avoid tourists" are some of the most tourist packed spots in the entire city. Time Out Market is just an over-glorified dining area you can find in any shopping mall. Pick the local, family owned, traditional restaurants and cafes that are not in the tourist doomed hot spots in Porto downtown if you want the Portuguese dining experience. You'll have a more genuine interactions, pay much less and see what it's like to be Portuguese in Porto.

The London's West End version will always be the best because they used child actors to play Augustus, Veruca, Violet, Mike and Charlie. Their casting of child actors to play the five Golden Ticket winners is much better than the Broadway and U.K.Tour versions a few years later.

Still not watched the film (will do very soon), but watched the production at the Wycombe Swan tonight. Absolutely loved it, very simplistic stage/props, but wow, does it work ..... and there were several screams in the audience, which to me, shows the power and psychological impact of the production, brilliant 👏🏻👏🏻

Geez he really delves into the psychology of these questions and has such profound answers. Even that first one where he wonders about the word "jerk" being used instead of "a**hole" and how that implies what answer he thinks the audience wants with that question. Really intellectual!
