Correct, this video is wrong about the definition of Six Sigma. Six Sigma has to do with the nearest spec limits being 6 standard deviations from the average (mean), which is not discussed in the video. The video is describing standard deviations and the normal distribution rules, which are correct, and it is also correct that +/- 3 standard deviations on each side of the average is equal to a span of 6 standard deviations, but that is not the same as six sigma (a common mistake people make). I am a EHS Professional. @ ALSTOM i learnt to dispose or eliminate hazards by effective alstom university's online courses. eleven directives is also an effective tools to hunt hazards. Lets talk about "KAIZEN" @ I saw first time to use kaizen methods to eliminate hazards at Godrej & Boyce. It is very helpful for EHS Professionals.

As far as I have learned, principles for KAIZEN are Eliminate, Combine, Rearrange and Simplify.
