FACT! All species of mecaques are greedy when it come to food! FACT! Because they live in a strict social order, high-ranking eats first🥇 then mid-ranking, then low-ranking. If obtaining food out of turn, that individual risks getting reprimanded, attacked by more than one member, killed or kicked out of the troop. Also, from this video watching 👀 these primates feeding behavior, it is CLEAR they are being fed only once a day! This is unacceptable 😤😭!!! Now, this is in a zoo so there's only 1 troop. And, feeding time is extremely chaotic that they don't seem to follow the "eating order" it's everyone for themselves. FACT! There were ONLY TWO DIFFERENT ITEMS ON THE MENU! Carrots🥕 and what appeared to be a type of lettuce🥬! FACT! The various types of lettuce🥬 have NO NUTRITIONAL VALUE, they mostly consist of WATER!!! Their only sensible choice is to grab all the carrots 🥕 possible to be able to achieve a sense of fullness! They have over 50 individuals in this so called exhibit... Can anyone please 😭🥺 tell me why they're only being fed 2ites, 1 of which won't assist them with anything else except to hydrate them?!?!?!? Where is all the fruits, and other various vegetables 🍆??? No wonder 🤔 it's chaotic, THEY ARE not🚫, NOT🚫 being given a suitable diet which would easily enforce the troop hierarchy, have more organized of feeding sessions, everyone would receive their fill (especially the toddlers whom are just starting to incorporate solids into their milk only diet) and they would be much more happy with life in general. SMH 😒🙄
