Hello! Do you know a website or any place which sells Korean Baru bowls that are used in Baru Gongyang? Japanese oryoki are easy to buy, but Korean Baru bowls are nowhere to be found. This is a pity.

The royal family also differed according to class. The concubines were not allowed to use dragon ornaments on costumes and accessories. Only the king, queen, and mother of the king can use the dragon. The poor lower class also used wooden-cut binyeo.

Chinese people these days are strange. They say "they stole Chinese culture" when they see Korean culture recreated under the influence of Chinese culture. Even this lion dance is a culture spread not only in Korea but also in most East Asia. There are lion dances in Japan and Vietnam, but why you say that they were stolen only by Korea? Again, it was not stolen, but recreated under the influence. Understand why China is called the "cradle of civilization." The existence of such cultures that have been recreated in their own way by bringing Chinese culture is proof that China is the cradle of civilization. The Chinese should not be called thieves by Koreans, but just smile generously. Everyone knows that it is a culture influenced by China. Don't worry about that, kids.

@@크로아탐 I am a Chinese, and I say that you have misunderstood us. China is a country with very long history, and our civilization was never conquered by foreigners, so that we can inherit all the legacy left by our ancestors and further develop them. So we don't steal other countries' cultures because we don't have to and we are proud of our cultures. Secondly, it is normal that many countries around China have absorbed our cultures under our influence, and they further develop these adoptation of cultures with their own twist. But the reason why South Koreans pisses us off is that they don't admit that some of their cultures was influenced by the Chinese culture. They borrow or recreated what we have and then claim that theirs is the original one, and it is invented by the Koreans.

@@mingyuegao9050 No, no. That's the most misunderstanding Chinese have about Koreans. To some extent, there are even videos that collect things that Chinese people misunderstand as stolen by Korea. Most Koreans' reaction to the video is to laugh at it and say, "What kind of Korean would claim that as Korean culture?" The most representative example is Confucius. Even in Korean textbooks, he is clearly written as Chinese, and most Koreans think of Confucius as Chinese or have no interest in him at all. Strangely, the Chinese misunderstand that Koreans claim that Confucius was Korean. It is unknown who or for what purpose spread these strange rumors. At least I know that the first source was Japan's anti-Korean site.

@@크로아탐I also believe most educated, respectable, and truthful Koreans acknowledge the truth that many Korean cultural things originated from China and Chinese culture had a very big impact on Korean culture. But tbh, you don't know every one of your fellow nationalist South Koreans who think so. lol. I remember watching a Korean video document of some South Korean professors trying to prove "Chinese characters/Hanja was invented by the Dong Yi people in San Dong province who were ancestors of Koreans"... And below the video, there are many South Korean comments who believe and support the beliefs...lol. With those beliefs and with the fact that Confucius was from San Dong province, which used to be the territory of Dong Yi people, it wouldn't surprise me that some Koreans actually believe and spread the idea that Confucius= Korean lol
