Long time subscriber, here. Love the tune. However, like another poster, the gear ratios are no longer allowed. I tried with both manual and automatic racing transmissions and my results were the same: We can no longer tune it the way you have it setup. This leads me to believe PD have made sure farming Le Mans with this particular car is much harder since even normal difficulty AI just blows past it. You can still win, but it's only when the AI decides to not pit for the incoming rain. If there's no storm, and/or light rain, you'll come in second, or third... Mostly due to how this older car is a gas guzzler, forcing pit stops. So, just wanted to let you and everybody know, while a cool piece of automotive history, there are far better cars to farm La Sarthe with as of 1.48.

@@PLAYER_42069 yes after patch 1.44 the transmission tuning ratios have changed and are no longer possible. I made a post on how to kind of fix it. Should be posted on the community tab.

First off, thanks a lot for tuning this car, Rocky. Second, did you see the new update trailer? What are your impressions? Third, in the trailer it said that there were going to be physics changes. What do you predict for potential physics changes?
@PLAYER_420693 күн бұрын
Fellow subscriber. The physics change deals with tyre wear more than anything else. It will be more "realistic" by adding a little more grip in certain situations. Igor Fraga (E-Sports) told everybody in an interview at the Manufacturer's Cup, that they were racing with the new physics in the tournament, already. So, nothing drastic, but some cars that were a little slip-happy might be more planted and vice versa given the new tyre wear and temperature modeling. The Michelin branding tie-in probably provided the new tyre data?

@@PLAYER_42069 Thanks a lot for answering. It's good to know that the changes won't be very drastic.

@@GkslOkn Yeah the update looks interesting and I'm very excited. But at the same time I feel torn and I'm not sure what to do. Since we are getting a physics change, I'm not sure if the Performance point system will be adjusted again and if I should wait to tune the cars after the update or try to get some of them done before the update. But if i get them done before the update and the Performance point system changes then all those cars I put tunes for might not work anymore. I feel bad because there are so many requests I still need to get too but the physics changes might put the requested tunes to a temporary stop.
@GkslOkn2 күн бұрын
@@ROCKY5516v Thanks for answering my questions, Rocky. And yes, I think you should wait for the update to do the requested tunes, since there may be a PP calculation change.

What's the difference between the front, side, and back parts? Why choose Part A over Part B?
@ROCKY5516v13 күн бұрын
For the front, Type A and Type B give downforce and are cosmetic. They both give the same amount of downforce. Side is purely cosmetic and adds no downforce. Rear Type A gives rear downforce only. Rear Type B adds a diffuser adding front and rear downforce which will boost up the Performance Points. Not every car is the same as they all have different options.
