The acting here is poor compared to the 70s corrie.

Frederick Handel (Fred) Elliott 1994-2006. I say and in his words I Seh. That was always his motto. i think this was an Episode from the year 2004 with Boyzone singer in it Keith Duffy. John Frederick Joseph Savident. born 21st January 1938 in Guernsey Died 21st February 2024 Muswell Hill London. He was Married for 62 years to his wife Rona. I could go on all night writing about John Savident but these are my words and facts about him. Kind funny and a Gentleman. Rest Easy John.🙏🌟. He is a Corrie Legend and an Icon.

Good old Emily, giving Les precisely what he deserves. Emily was never afraid to speak her mind. However, a few years after this episode, she came face to face with Ernest's murderer, which really tested her principles and morals.

When Corrie was great. Bad shit happened the odd crash explosion but it was full of great characters and lots of back street comedy. All sadly gone now to make way for child sex rings child terrorist rings guns gangs and cancer. 😢

Ironically, if this was modern Corrie, Fred would have murdered Maureen and buried her under the shop, exactly what Ashley joked about. I wish Coronation Street was as good today as it was back then. Far fetched rubbish it has become, I say far-fetched rubbish. Thanks for the upload.

@@MrWillHughes why should we all join in the mass hysterical hagiography of a man who was clearly a wrong'un? All of his "achievements" should be remembered to give a more rounded legacy of the man. From his depictions of a tedious, northern caricature, Something which even the actor himself hastily wanted to distance himself from after he left, to the depraved reality of his unnatural proclivities.
