Nice informative video. Even though I can only understand via subtitles, I learned a lot about the history of Seiko and all the different movements. In my modest collection, I have a Crown, Lord Marvel Hi-Beat, Seikomatic 6216, Chariot 2200 and Lord Matic. Still hoping to find a nice first generation Marvel to add to my collection one day. 😊
Lastima que no haya hecho más vídeos porque tiene alguno muy interesante. Espero que esté bien y en el futuro vuelva a hacer vídeos.

Hello 👋 not sure if you still respond but I’m wondering if you have any other recommendations for where to find watches to restore. I will go to kyoto flea market but will be in tokyo as well. I will definitely go to sweetroad. Maybe recycle shops or somewhere like this? domo arigatoogozaimasu !

Greetings from the UK. Thank you so much for this interesting presentation. With their introduction of quartz technology in 1969, Seiko did indeed revolutionise the market for wrist watches. As you state, mechanical watchmaking has made somewhat of a comeback. However, for the ordinary consumer at least, quartz still remains as the most rational choice. Indeed, I still sometimes wear an extremely thin Seiko Lassale from the early 80's. It is most exquisite.
