Who has the participation trophy? The person that made the power button control the screen brightness. Coast guard or not. The power button? Not smart!

Agreed. 100%. My wife had let my 3 year old daughter start pushing buttons on the Lowrance while I was parking the trailer and she caused this issue. In the meantime, I’m pissed because my fish finder is giving me a black screen and I could not for the life of me get it back on. Thanks to this guy for the video, but seriously that’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.

So hard to listen to talking when the background music is up, fine for an intro or outro, not while talking please. You don't actually say how to adjust either. Just showing the tool in the upper socket. 3/5 stars :)

Agree about the eating qualities of those mackerel. I prefer the names blue or Pacific mackerel as slimy mackerel doesn't sound too appealing! Just for fun, they are not the same species as those found in England/Europe which are Atlantic mackerel (Scomber australasicus vs Scomber scombrus).

Adam, mate, please invest in a decent knife sharpening system. (I recommend the Scary-sharp NZ, guided rod, jig from Geoff Furborough in Hawera). It was painful to see someone so skilled in so many fields, using such a dull knife.

You show a swivel mounted directly to the anchor. Credibility lost.
@FishyBusiness
@FishyBusiness 8 ай бұрын
You are partially right no swivel should be mounted directly to the anchor…. Unless it matches or exceeds the strength of the chain which that one did.

Brilliant content thanks! And great how you offer clear information in a concise way. With using the Cuttle Eye in workups, what weight do you recommend please? I see they do a 75, 100, and 135gm. Most of my fishing is in the Hauraki Gulf. Thanks!
@FishyBusiness
@FishyBusiness 11 ай бұрын
The weight is governed by the depth and speed of drift. 100 gram being most common in average drift 30-50 metres depth

@@FishyBusiness I forgot to ask, would you recommend going a little lighter than this (the 100g Cuttle Eye weight) when using the Squish lure, such as 80g? Or do you prefer 100g for the Squish too? Thanks again!
@FishyBusiness
@FishyBusiness 11 ай бұрын
@@DavidBrown-nt2gs same applies depth v current v tackle weight . Little less water resistant so 80 gram would be my go to unless fishing over 40 metres

@FishyBusiness

For a small boat they perform really well. I have had it offshore in average conditions and it went really well. Also used in a lot of strong current and wind chop in big harbours and ride’s really nicely.
