Unfortunately, today there are still people who kill these beautiful wild animals that don't deserve to be anyone's food. Nowadays people can survive without eating meat, at least without eating the meat of wild animals. People have to understand these are all relics of the old society: hunting, keeping animals in zoos, using them in circuses, eating their meat so any exploitation of animals of this type should be banned.

People seem to have a lot of accuracy issues with Christensen Arms. What's up with that?

I've had many hunts at 3 Forks, since 2016. It is truly a special place with the greatest guides. Looking forward to my hunt there again in Fall of 2024. Great footage in this video. Captures the true essence of hunting at 3 Forks.

Why would you want to see a gun company review their own gun, on their own channel? Obviously they’re going to claim it’s a great gun.

I was looking at the evoke on your website and I was excited to see the 270 win with a 1:7.5 twist rate! I reload and that will be nice ! Now if it would come in a wood or laminate stock that would be awesome! I’m going to be watching for these to ship to the stores

I have owned 2 ranger 22s and 4 MPR rifles. Both of the Ranger rifles have had to go back for repairs. One of them is about to go back for a second trip due to failures to extract.(you never fixed is the first time) My MPR in 300 win mag went back 2-3 times for repairs. Both my short action 6.5 Creedmoor will not reliably eject live rounds. So of the 6 Christensen arms rifles I have had 5 of them have had substantial issues. My local gun shop is so tired of dealing with repairs on your products they stopped carrying them. If you are not carful you will be the next Remington.

@dvskane18082 ай бұрын
Why would you keep buying them?
@dvskane18082 ай бұрын
@@tyedenshaw6721 my Mesa in 7mm mag is a .25 with the right hand loads and under an inch with factory ammo all day. I did have an issue with the dual extractors, my shells would eject high and hit my scope turret. I removed one of the extractors and it ejects flawlessly now. It doesn’t sway me from buying another Christensen rifle. I plan to buy the evoke in 7prc when I can find one.

I'm not big on all the new products that come out every year, but I have to say, I'm pretty stoked about this rifle. It has an incredible feature set for such a (relatively) budget rifle, and I am also highly intrigued by the .270 Winchester offering that has a 1:7.5 twist rate barrel! A friend of mine has a custom Remington 700 in .270 with a 1:7.5 barrel, and he's getting 7mm Win Mag-like numbers out of it (seriously) shooting Hammer copper bullets. All the "old" stuff (.243, .25-06, .270, 30-06, etc.) is as capable and relevant as it's ever been, but they just need faster, more modern twist rates to show what they are truly capable of. Thanks to Christensen Arms for having the balls to give a 100-year old cartridge a new lease on life. With the right load, and with that much faster twist rate, its ballistics capabilities are in a whole other league. If anyone from Christensen Arms is reading this, please...PLEASE make all the older chamberings with either 1:7.5 or 1:8 twist rate barrels too. You have the manufacturing to test them with faster rates, and if you do, you'll see just how capable they actually are. I know it's easy to just chamber for 6.5 Creed, 6.5 PRC, 7 PRC and .300 PRC and call it done. But for the hoards of us who love and shoot the "older" cartridges like .270 and .30-06 (and others), being able to buy a rifle that allows us to shoot all the higher BC bullets now available is something we deserve too. Once people see just how valid higher twist rates are for those cartridges, the more people will see just how capable and relevant they actually are. We just need a manufacturer step up to the plate to bring them into the modern age like the newer stuff that is able to take advantage of higher BC bullets. Chambering the Evoke in .270 Win with a 1:7.5 barrel was a ballsy move, and one that I am grateful for. But I believe there's a sizeable, untapped market for bringing the older cartridges into the modern age with faster twist rate barrels. It just requires a manufacturer bold enough to do it. I really do think there's a larger market for it that is yet to be tapped into. Cheers, and thanks for your consideration.

Well this rifle and the CVA Cascade LRH are on my radar for new rifles. This price is almost TOO good to be true for a Christensen Arms Rifle. Hopefully WhoTee will shoot this one for us. Im very interested. Almost excited but with possible trepidation cause of the price.

We want everyone to be able to have a great American made rifle, the Evoke we believe makes this happen. All the quality of Christensen Arms American made rifles for under a 900. We are very proud to bring this to market.

I’m Christensen fan. I currently own 4 rifles. I went to the western hunt expo and this was on my list of things to check out… I was extremely let down. The action felt terrible. There was a lot of play in it. On paper this thing is a ringer. But my Ruger American gen ii action feels much better. If the specs where tightened up on it everything else looked good about it. I know I wasn’t the only one who felt this way. literally the guy that picked it up right after me said the exact same thing. I’m not trying to negative and throw hate. just being honest.
@ChristensenArms5 ай бұрын
Hey sir, thanks for being a CA customer. Just for your knowledge the rifle you felt was pre production. So these will not be the same quality as the production rifles. Hope this helps and once they hit the stores maybe give it another feel.

Is this just the Ranger in a Chassis? Or did they actually get smart and make a 700 footprint rimfire? I'm guessing it's just the Ranger based on the ruger mags. If a company started making an affordable 700 footprint 22lr to compete with Vudoo they would make so much money. Christensen has so much potential, but constantly falls short.
@crashdown903p5 ай бұрын
Wait, its not a Remington 700 action like Christensen's other rifles? So basically zero aftermarket options for triggers stocks etc? lame!! Save an extra 100-200$ and go buy a Bergara.
@DaRougaroux15 ай бұрын
Bergara is a good gun BUT it is the pickiest rifle concerning ammo. It will shoot a ton of manufacturers wildly and then find ONE that it shoots well. Too many other rifles out there that shoot quite a few makers and weights, all well.
@ChristensenArms5 ай бұрын
We offer plenty of Rem 700 actions so you have plenty to pick from. We believe in great American made rifles, and Evoke fits right in to that.
