Awesome pinball I have one in my kitchen I play while cooking. Only problem with mine is that the drop targets won’t reset after the ball drops. They only reset when you start the game.

Dirty switch in the reset bank. God knows which one. I see a small file and a box of voltaren in your future.

I just found your channel and its great! I haven't seen many people who repair and restore pins the way you do. How do you go about getting new playfields made? Same with backglasses?

Being somewhat "snookered by distance" and the fact that the government has ruined the postal service through corruption, incompetence and cadre deployment I have to make my own. My playfields are made with 12mm Baltic birch so they're slightly thinner that the 1/2" maple ply the US uses but I can make what I need when I need it. I've had some inquiries from guys in Europe and the US to supply but the shipping kills the deal.

He did 3 of them.. That was the first machine he did and I told him to respray it because he screwed it up and him and the boss said no one would notice, despite my protests. I've actually got pictures of the other 2 he sprayed and you can see the similarity 😂😂

Love your work. A labor of love which is appreciated. The average guy has no idea how many bits make up a sweet machine. I love pinball machines so much so that I went to Vegas and Reno to all the Pinball Hall of Fame locations to play as many machines as I could. I will make a trip to your store you not too far from me. Have a good one

Thanks for showing us this nice machine. A little tip on desoldering: You can make your live easier (and also avoid the risk of lifting pads on the board), if you cut the transistor legs first and them remove them individually.

What a lucky guy to have a Pinball Wizard like you to keep his baby going. This is one of my favorite machines. I have had to resort to building my own vpin as the dream of owning a real machine is too far off for me. Love your work!!! Would love to stop by and see what you up to in your workshop.

thanks... hopefully this will work with some HDPE... it's around 1/16", .06", or 1.5mm and flexible as it is, but stiff enough to have stubborn spots and I want it as a flat, non-stick surface for making adhesive-infused flat cloth for bookbinding (with starch and acrylic that won't stick to PE). I like what you do.... I have an old Americana, electric Tarzan (with debatably racist aborigine sidekick) machine, oh heck what is is called, that thing that's like upright pinball? I'd live to get it working.

So, you're saying that's made by Gottlieb? I have the exact same unit (x10) in a Playmatic "made in Spain" EM. Do you think Playmatic imported the units from Gottlieb?
@EscapismPinball
@EscapismPinball 2 жыл бұрын
I'm convinced that Spanish manufacturers made machines under licence from the US companies because of political boycotts aimed at Franco. Business is business.
