My Mom had Honey Nut Cheerios while I had Honey Bunches of Oats that morning, then I had a Fall Allergies, Sinus acting up because Seasons Changed I took a Zicam Cold Medical mixed up with Minute Maid Juice while I was watching Volume TWO of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on the DVD when I had the VHS/DVD Combo by Magnavox courtesy of Uncle Jay back in Early February 2006.

The dodgers have spent more years in LA than they did in Brooklyn at this point. Few alive today ever saw the Brooklyn team. It's nice nostalgia, but that's about it. I'll give the Dodgers (Branch Rickey) credit for changing the face of America by bringing Jackie Robinson up to the majors in 1947. After that, the only thing you can say about today's dodgers is they have lots of money and like the Yankees it gives them a credible team every year. The reality is they spend twice as much as everyone else and the results are still not much better than everyone else.

Back then, the rule of thumb was you shot from the corner on high volume or longer distance oil. Of course back then there were no pattern graphs, either.

i wonder what top fashionistas in 1970 would have said in regards to Mr. Ritger in his those blueish pants with that untucked lemon lime collar shirt, or, for that matter, Mr. Davis Christmas in springtime wear lol. Mr. Ritger is wearing the coolest looking bowling shoes ive ever seen, looks Italian, which, of course, is befitting of the pba image head.

It's unfortunate many people today don't know Don Johnson was as good as the top bowlers in the sport. He had as many titles as Earl Anthony and Dick Weber for a number of years.

The other commonality of the '77 and '78 Series is not only they lost 4-2 but won the first 2 games before losing the next 4.

Brooklyn Dodgers story is another sports tragedy that underlines that team ownership interests often dont align with the interests of their fans.

Rick Leach vs Art Schlichter - no comparison. Woody's last three seasons were pretty bad, and his QB's ended up as convicted felons who did jail time.

Remember this game clearly, was doing errands, heard the first half on radio with Tom Kelly, got home in time for epic comeback. This game drove Ara Parseghian into retirement, he could not bear the thought of watching that "horse" again, so many disappointments at the Coliseum. In 1964 and 1970, USC ruined undefeated Notre Dame seasons.

Rick Leach was a lot better passer by the time he was a senior. Before that he made Jalen Milro of Alabama look like Joe Namath.

@@patrickfurlong9169 I won’t take time to defend Schembechler I know once other Michigan fans see this they will come after you with a vengeance. But Bo did kind of change with the times when Anthony Carter came along. Everybody was about the running game back then. (And didn’t take him damn near a decade to beat Ohio St.)

This game literally was what made me love football as much as I do.. It bring back so many crazy memories while this game was going on. It’s truly the best Michigan game in history. The fact they won how they did is nuts and just to rub it in even more it was against the #1 rivals

The reality is that MSU was the best team in the Big Ten in '78 and were co-champs. They didn't go because they were on a ridiculously disproportionate probation. That came about because Woody was sore he lost to MSU in '74. MSU smoked Michigan in Ann Arbor in '78. OSU was fortunate the schedule makers didn't pit them against MSU because their passing game would have romped Woody, which would have been very, very sweet.
