Hello Pro Smoke, I saw a review on Toptenrweviews about the XT "My biggest issue with this grill and smoker is how much ash it created-and not in the ash bucket where I would have hoped all of it would have gone. The grates were covered in ash after every cooking session. I’d have to clean it off before using the grill again. However, the grates would then get covered completely in ash as soon as I started the grill. Even as I cooked, ash continued to cover the grates. I found myself having to constantly clean ash off the grates before I cooked, as I cooked, and after I cooked. It’s likely that my food was covered in a fine layer of ash too" What are your thoughts on that?

Just saw them after they had landed and the quality is very good and comparable with my many USA smokers,very good price for that quality of a smoker.

My go-to bbq/smoker outlet. Great work guys. Ordered my Workhorse pit from ProSmoke and only had good experiences from them so far! Will be looking at some cast iron cooking sets and knifes soon. Just need the money 😂.... Emil

So there's no plate or diffuser over the baffle to distribute the heat (prevent hot spots) or stop all.the juices and drips falling and burning onto the baffle? Anyone made this problem?
@prosmokebbq8530Ай бұрын
The baffle distributes the heat, juices add flavour!

How efficient is it for an everyday griller?

Can you put a griddle in it for smash burgers and sear meat 🥩

Looks great. The handle on the front needs to be higher because when you come out with a few slabs of ribs, the handle is in the way, and you can't use the whole table on the front . The probe ports should be on the other side of the control box,. It's not a deal breaker, just an observations.

How does this compare to a Konnected Joe? I'm assuming the Kamado is more fuel efficient and holds temp better?

This looks to be the build quality we all wanted in the previous models. I love my 800 but based on build quality I'm not sure if I would spring $1400. Not sure the trust is there to support that price-point just yet. That said it looks awesome!

I'm worried about the baffle design. The Oklahoma Joe Tacoma 900 has lever baffles, too. The charcoal still smolders for too long wasting fuel.

Just built mine and done a burn-in. Can confirm it’s a beast. Instructions still shocking for a few steps. This will be far better for the UK weather. Love the 3 fully racked cooking levels. The controls only got just warm when at 400f.
