Mine just started that on off low pressure msg after an oil change with cheap 5w30( free oil change at work) so i Ordered liquid moly 5w40 hope the oil pressure level will be ok with the thicker one

Good job…..really not that difficult if you have any common sense at all. Just did alternator, belt tensioner and belt. Repair shop wanted $900 for just the alternator…..bought all three parts from Rock Auto for $320. don’t be fooled.

It’s quite possible, I ended up getting one with a stage 2 tune. That’s what really pulls the performance out of the new piece.

After watching dozen of videos and none of the work for me, here is how to proceed If no success : -disconnect battery -press brake pedal (to discharge all the remaining electricity in car) -connect battery again -ignition ON - you may have indication of ESP fault - to fix this turn steering wheel completely on one side, than completely to other side - ESP error will disappear - now windows (generally as in videos) , one by one move it completely down, hold button for 3 seconds, move it completely up, hold button for another 3 second - repeat for other windows - done - you are welcom (without reseting all car by battery disconnect, it doesn't work for me)

I know you already got something but the MK7.5 Rs and s3 (or a3 with AWD) of the same generation would have been another great replacement option the price dropped a nice bit in the last year. I love my mk6 gti but the mk7.5 R I had was a beast in comparison.

I’ve seen some who’ve managed to do it without removing the bumper. I’d definitely recommend removing it. It just made the job so much easier and removing a bumper honestly, isn’t too hard.

Swaybar is pre loaded. Unbolt the links and reattach them with either the car on the ground or stands under the rear arms

I am considering to add a stiffener plate in the rear as well with the subframe. My GTI is more of a weekend runner so I don't usually daily it. If I pull the trigger and install it I'll send a post on your upcoming vids.
