I always thought that the diesel locomotive would be at the end of the train and the steam locomotive at the front. The main job of the diesel locomotive is to power the lights in the carriages.

Hi, thanks for watching the video. I did nothing special just attached the Action 4 to a flat wagon and set it rolling around the railway. The only thing I did in post was to push the colour up a bit in iMovie. Cheers Pete
@StarWarsJayАй бұрын
@@ghostontheline cheers Pete. That action camera must have some nifty features built in (plus your input of course). I’m getting into model railways myself and I’ve been toying with the idea of getting a decent action camera to do what you’ve done in this video (I have a new model railway channel: The Red Line Model Railway channel if you fancy seeing what I’m learning). Thanks for the info mate. All the best, Jason.

How the mighty has fallen though, to think this once upon a time was a bustling junction, trains bound for Exeter London and Bath Green, now it’s a quiet little station.

Thanks for shooting the video of Pine Road. Having not been dismantled for a couple of years your video highlighted to me that we had a problem and the board joint was causing the stock to wobble over it and in one instance self-uncouple a wagon. Glad to say the builder of the model Kelly came over today and together we cut the locating dowls, realigned the boards, installed new dowls and resoldered one rail that had come adrift. Everything is running well now thanks to your video. Sometimes we are so engrossed in running the layout we missed these fundamental errors. Ian Matterface, Southwestern Model Railway Club

Hi, thanks for watching and commenting on the video. I had a look back at the footage and I see what you mean I seem to have caught the joint several times. So glad to be of service to you and now you have solved the problem. The Southern 0-4-0 tank sounded very good, very realistic. Best Regards Pete

Hi, thanks for watching the video, yes it is a very distinctive sound. Before moving to Templecombe I lived in Basingstoke and travelled up to Waterloo where I worked in the BR General Office.
