Spent some time at the observation park this afternoon, if you want some great photo's of atlas, it was parked RIGHT across the street. Maybe no more than 50 yards from the actual observation park itself. Right up close and personal!

I spent time at the Observation Deck yesterday and got some great pics too. I looked like they were servicing the right rear landing gear too.

As you know, that Queen, is 1of 2 Atlas VIP 747-400's, she hasn't flown much in the last few Months, she has a few bugs to get worked out, before NFL Charter Season.

no but the parking deck is only issue with gravely is no shade for our stuff it will over heat and people standing in the way while doing the show. i have done 4k stuff from there. people make it hard haha

It’s a long way to travel without something definitive. You could take the chance and see what’s available when you arrive. Maybe going to CLT is a better idea and plan IAD for another holiday weekend.
